We have been numerous times. The pizza is strictly GF and you cannot add different toppings due to the risk of cross contamination to the prep area. The other GF items are naturally GF and they don’t have any gluten in the items they use to prevent other cross contamination. The only things they have that are gluten are the pizzas which are prepped in a separate area and the breads / buns. They also have GF new planet pale ale. I feel pretty safe here.

Exactly what others have said. Items are marked gluten free, and when you tell them you have an allergy and want it GF, they ask if cross contamination is okay. This makes no sense.

I highly do not recommend The Mercantile if you have celiac. There was cross contamination on almost every item on their menu — despite GF markings. Was told there was risk for cross contamination on their fried “GF” apps, and when I asked manager what the risk was he explained that it was a shared fryer but that “90% of allergens are killed with high heat” which is absolutely not true for gluten.

So this restaurant marks items as gluten free on the menu but when asked about a dedicated fryer the server checked with the manager and there is NO dedicated fryer! So the fried appetizers marked as gluten free definitely are not! I’m so glad I asked about the fryer!
