I love The Mill! Not a huge gluten free menu but I come here pretty often for the Mill burger (on a gluten free bun) and French fries. Fryer is not a dedicated fryer but I am not so sensitive about that. I’ll take a slight stomach ache for some fries :) Good salads and they have some appetizers that are gf and delicious! I am not celiac just gluten intolerant.

I asked if the chicken apple poppyseed salad was gluten free and the waitress knew that the chicken was partly prepared with other food that had gluten so was able to tell the cook to skip that step in grilling the chicken. In order not to get cross contamination. She also said that the fries were deep fried in a shared fryer. Even though I didn't order fries my friend did just in case we were sharing them. I was very impressed.

They have been very helpful for me on a limited diet. I'm on the AIP diet and can't have a lot of seasonings that are common to use. They were able to make a meal cooked only with olive oil, salt, and garlic for me.

I want to love it because it's local and close to my house, but I won't be back. Their gf options are limited, and misleading. They do state in the menu fine print that they are not a gf facility, etc, but they label their fries as gf but make them in a shared fryer with breaded items.
I had a burger on a gf bun, which added $3 to the already not inexpensive price, and was then told I could sub the NOT GF fries it came with for a side salad for another $2. Insult, meet injury. I don't know if it was due to cross contamination from the grill (they grill the buns, too) or from a sauce that was on the burger, but I got sick :(.
Friendly staff that made sure my meal was gluten free. Great atmosphere! Ate the cod street tacos and didn't get sick.
