This is our go-to place for gf pancakes. Personally we have never had any problems there.

To save folks the trouble, the gluten free items that have are plain, blueberry, pecan, chocolate chip, strawberry, and banana pancakes. I ordered the blueberry pancakes. They are average at best. There is no indication of their GF safety protocols and they get irritated if you ask. The waitress was nice otherwise.
The host was extremely rude and didn’t even greet us. They have a waitlist feature on the weekends and they sent me three texts telling me the table was ready and it never was. We waited over 20 mins past the estimated wait time without as much as a sorry for the error or inconvenience. He was also really into whatever was on his headphones and didn’t lead us to the table, he just pointed to it and returned to drop off menus and silverware.
This was not worth the visit.

My daughter has Celiac’s and she had a very bad reaction to their “gluten free pancakes”. She has had gluten free pancakes at other locations without reactions even when they’re cooked on the same pan as other gluten items.
When we called the restaurant to ask about the cross contamination, the manager said “the chef said he gave you gluten free pancakes.” That was it, no apologies, no attempt to make right on the order. If you have Celiac’s, please avoid their gluten free items.

Many Original Pancake House locations offer gluten free pancakes. Please speak to your server about taking the proper precautions to prevent cross contamination, if necessary.
Best gluten free pancakes in the county with a number of toppings available. There are also excellent omelets that are gluten free.
Very busy weekend breakfast. Register online to avoid long waits. Place is noisy with crying and shouting kids so ask for a quiet table. Its out gluten free go to breakfast place.

Best pancakes I’ve had gluten free or not! Dedicated plates the staff knew what I could and could not have and what could and could not be modified.

Great gluten free pancakes. Definitely will be coming back

GF pancakes! The special pancakes (chocolate chip, pecan, etc.) seem to be more topped than they are mixed in, but they were very good nonetheless! Came out on dedicated plates.

Got sick from the veggie sausages and it was completely awful. Not gluten free friendly.
The gluten-free pancakes were solid and appreciated. They have fresh blueberry syrup also which was terrific.

OK here's my honest review going to the Original Pancake House with Celiac. They have several gluten free options, which is super cool. They can make any pancake gluten free, however, I have no idea what ingredients are in their add ons for pancakes and honestly I'm not sure the wait staff fully knows either. Due to that lack of confidence, I ordered plain GF pancakes. They tasted excellent and I highly recommend. The caveat is how sensitive are you and how willing are you to take a legit chance in potentially getting glutened? They do cook the pancakes on a separate griddle, but they use the same cooking utensil as regular pancakes, so the potential is there for cross contamination. I would avoid the waffles because they are cooked in the same waffle iron. I took a chance on the pancakes and I think I will be safe. I would stay away from ANY sides as they are cooked on the same griddled as the gluten foods. If I get glutened I am confident it is because I did not ask the right questions related to meat prep BEFORE I took a bite of the ham I ordered. So if you decide to roll the dice on this one and hope against hope because you just want to have a "normal" meal out with your family because celiac is HARD, I would recommend sticking with straight up GF plain pancakes. Hope that helps you all! Have a good day!
