Limited gluten-friendly menu. Pancakes are a win.

It seems they used to be more careful. The last 3-4 time I have gone I got sick. The last time I was sick all afternoon. Unfortunately, I can not eat here anymore. Just one more thing I will have to cook myself.

Ordered the Vegan pancakes said to be wheat, dairy, and egg free. Within 15 min was getting vertigo and having vision problems. Loved this restaurant years ago. Won’t eat here again.

It was a beautiful place but if you have a peanut allergy also STAY AWAY. They put peanut oil in all of the batter. They were very accommodating but my son was very disappointed when he could only have fruit and bacon.

They have a list of the pancake options that can be made gluten free. We had bacon as well, but not sure about the eggs. They were extremely fluffy and likely had a little pancake batter mixed in - something to ask about. My sensitive GF boy didn't get sick, so that says a lot!

We go here regularly for the gf peanut butter pancakes. Everything is slightly overpriced so I go elsewhere unless I'm in the mood for pancakes but it's worth it for the pancakes!

Incredible buckwheat pancakes! Staff is very knowledgeable about gluten in their products. Do note the the potato pancakes have pancake batter in them. Otherwise, a perfect choice for gf breakfast :)

Gluten free pancakes! A variety of options. Made mine w bananas in them and they were fluffy and delicious. Menu says they are not a completely gluten free environment but I felt fine after eating.

OK here's my honest review going to the Original Pancake House with Celiac. They have several gluten free options, which is super cool. They can make any pancake gluten free, however, I have no idea what ingredients are in their add ons for pancakes and honestly I'm not sure the wait staff fully knows either. Due to that lack of confidence, I ordered plain GF pancakes. They tasted excellent and I highly recommend. The caveat is how sensitive are you and how willing are you to take a legit chance in potentially getting glutened? They do cook the pancakes on a separate griddle, but they use the same cooking utensil as regular pancakes, so the potential is there for cross contamination. I would avoid the waffles because they are cooked in the same waffle iron. I took a chance on the pancakes and I think I will be safe. I would stay away from ANY sides as they are cooked on the same griddled as the gluten foods. If I get glutened I am confident it is because I did not ask the right questions related to meat prep BEFORE I took a bite of the ham I ordered. So if you decide to roll the dice on this one and hope against hope because you just want to have a "normal" meal out with your family because celiac is HARD, I would recommend sticking with straight up GF plain pancakes. Hope that helps you all! Have a good day!
