Pancakes were amazing! They showed up on red plates to distinguish them from the other plates in the kitchen. Did not get sick. Will be back again.

This place is absolutely amazing! My husband has Celiac disease and I am dairy free. We both ordered the Georgia Pecan pancakes and a side of chicken sausage. It was fabulous! The coffee was as well!! Just like everyone else said, the allergy entrees come out on a red plate. It wasn’t cheap, BUT, quality food isn’t cheap. We both brought home enough for another meal. We can’t wait to go back!! Our server was friendly and helpful! Neither one of us got sick!!! Yay!!

I am one bite in and cannot give this a review quick enough. Cinnamon bun pancakes are absolutely incredible. I ordered carry out and it was ready in 15 minutes which was also a plus. We live 2.5 hours away but I would make the drive to eat these again!!!

I love how easy it is to eat a yummy breakfast with The Original Pancake house. Everything gluten free is served on a red plate. This way everyone from line cooks to servers to those cleaning tables know it is a gluten allergy.

This place was wonderful! I was diagnosed with Celiac 5 years ago and haven't had a decent pancake until now! It was delicious and the service was fantastic! They knew all about Celiac and knew how to make sure that everything came out just right!

Awesome breakfast. Really hard to find a safe breakfast place but this is it. All GF orders come out on a special plate. All GF orders are made in separate prep area and grill. Blueberry pancakes are great. Will be a regular here.

This place was amazing and they have a separate gf menu as well as other gf options. They prepare everything in a separate area and on special plates! Very knowledgeable staff! It was heaven eating here! Very sensitive celiac and no problems!

Had eggs, bacon & buttermilk pancakes. The pancakes were wonderful! Lots of pancake choices. GF pancakes come out on a different colored plate. Server was knowledgeable. Overall a little pricey for all menu items, OJ is fresh squeezed on site. Nice treat while on vacay!

I've been to the chesterfield valley location several times. The gluten free pancakes were delicious! I wasn't sure about the syrup but the server mentioned that his mother was gluten intolerant and it didn't bother her. This made me a little nervous as a celiac, but I've had it several times without any side effects.

Ladue location: absolutely best Gf breakfast place I have seen! So many options of pancake flavors and they were fluffy and delicious. Great service.

This was the Ladue location. Wonderful GF pancakes! My plate was a different color from the others. Delicious, delicious, delicious! Can't wait to go back! Turkey sausage is amazing and I really like that several of the pancakes can be made gluten free and they're clearly denoted.

Got sick from the veggie sausages and it was completely awful. Not gluten free friendly.

The gluten-free pancakes were solid and appreciated. They have fresh blueberry syrup also which was terrific.

OK here's my honest review going to the Original Pancake House with Celiac. They have several gluten free options, which is super cool. They can make any pancake gluten free, however, I have no idea what ingredients are in their add ons for pancakes and honestly I'm not sure the wait staff fully knows either. Due to that lack of confidence, I ordered plain GF pancakes. They tasted excellent and I highly recommend. The caveat is how sensitive are you and how willing are you to take a legit chance in potentially getting glutened? They do cook the pancakes on a separate griddle, but they use the same cooking utensil as regular pancakes, so the potential is there for cross contamination. I would avoid the waffles because they are cooked in the same waffle iron. I took a chance on the pancakes and I think I will be safe. I would stay away from ANY sides as they are cooked on the same griddled as the gluten foods. If I get glutened I am confident it is because I did not ask the right questions related to meat prep BEFORE I took a bite of the ham I ordered. So if you decide to roll the dice on this one and hope against hope because you just want to have a "normal" meal out with your family because celiac is HARD, I would recommend sticking with straight up GF plain pancakes.
