The Pantry Restaurant

They currently only have the buckwheat pancakes but the batter has changed? It’s made with buckwheat gf pancake mix and then they add water. No other gluten free items on the menu or gluten free menus now. No real maple syrup. I would say they don’t really understand food allergies as they also brought out butter with the pancakes when I said I’m dairy free too. Also the pancakes were very dense and almost doughy. That might be why they got rid of all there other gluten free items.

I stick with the basics, eggs, meats, potatoes, omelettes and all good. Comes on a plate for carry out which is nice.

Ordered takeout from here and was very impressed! It’s hard to find a breakfast place that will cater to celiacs with more than just eggs lol. I ordered the french toast with fresh strawberries & also ordered the grilled chicken sandwich! Both tasted great and they took a LOT of precaution with cross contamination to the point where all the the sandwich toppings were packaged separately! I did not feel sick at all & I look forward to going back! :)

They understand celiac and have a great gluten free menu. One of my go to restaurants!

Large GF menu, and they made a point to tell the cooks about our allergy. There are a few types of GF pancakes (buttermilk, buckwheat, crepes) and also GF french toast.
