Menu has gluten containing items marked. There’s also a sign saying that for allergies they will scoop from a new container with a fresh scoop. I asked for salted butter caramel from a new container with hot fudge. No fuss and fast service. Yahoo!

They are marking the menu now with "contains gluten" for items that are not gluten free. If you tell them you have a gluten allergy, they will get a clean scoop and scoop from a fresh container. No GF cones, so I get it in a bowl. I'm very sensitive to cross contamination and if they don't use a clean scoop and fresh container, I will react. But no issues when they use a clean scoop and container.

Ice cream was good, not many dairy free options, and I’m not sure about cross contamination. Gluten free items are not marked on the menu, so it’s up to the common sense of the customer.

Unsure how they have received such high ratings prior to mine though the last rating is nearly 3 years old. The menu isn’t labeled and when I asked I was told everything was gluten free. Reader I was looking at a cookies and cream ice cream that was most definitely not gluten free. Upon further questioning the employee realized they had no clue what they were talking about. I know people think they are being kind when they say everything should be fine but it’s not helpful to celiacs.

The best ice cream in NC! They mark gluten items on the menu. You can ask them to use clean utensils and they are great about allergies. I like the coconut-based vegan options a lot.

They taje their time. The ice cream is fabulous.

Has gluten free ice cream, but rampant contamination. Serving scoops are casually washed in between flavors, mixing gluten into gluten free bins.

Many flavors are GF and you can get a GF cone. They offer samples, but those usually come from the same buckets that they use to fill gluten cones. When you order your ice cream, they will use a fresh scoop and a new bucket from the back to prevent cross contamination. I freaking love this place.

Delicious. Lots of GF options. The staff is very knowledgeable about their ingredients.

Great variety of vegan ice cream as well as regular. Plus they have a gluten free cone plus regular bowls to put your ice cream in.

This is the BEST ice cream! Honestly, the best part about it is that the serve super creamy vegan ice cream for those of us who are also dairy intolerant! I get so sick of sorbet being the only option. They have delicious chocolate most of the time in the vegan variety and they also have some gf vegan toppings as well!

The staff checked on the gf status of the ice cream when I ordered. Ice cream was delicious!!

house-made ice cream that is to die for. try salted caramel or goat's milk with blueberry. most flavors are GF, all are made from scratch so they can tell you the specific ingredients. right in the middle of downtown by the bull in a cute old bldg.
