We didn’t eat here because the owner was so rude when we asked for a table for five people. We were told that they were prioritizing their takeout orders and we wouldn’t get food for 45 minutes.
Staff extremely knowledgeable about cross contamination risks.
There are five grills here. One is for everything that isn’t gluten free (including some vegan stuff), one for home fries, one that is both gluten-free and vegan, one that’s gluten free only that does have meat on it, and a hot plate for apples on the weekends.

The food was perfectly made. My daughter has a Gluten allergy so finding a safe & enjoyable breakfast place is difficult. Every staff member questioned any allergies when approaching the table. We will absolutely be back as this was perfect.

Amazing experience here! They take gluten free to the next level. Owner is super nice and offers so many goodies for the gluten free community from holiday catering, a freezer full of single portion gluten free meals like Mac and cheese, ravioli and more. The baked goods are delish! Tons of sweets like cookies, cupcakes, Whoopie pies. So many reasons to visit. Only non gluten free items in the restaurant are gluten pancakes and gluten toast which are made on a separate grill/toaster. Gluten free food is plated on square plates.

I adore The Purple Rooster. The owner/chef is GF herself. She and her staff handle food allergies, sensitivities, intolerences and ciliacs very well. She has completely separate food prep & cooking areas, and even uses different plates for GF and non-GF. Dairy free cheese available too. My non-GF kids are always happy here as well. The waffle/pancake/french toast toppings options are excellent! Try the potato pancake (GF/DF) - perfectly seasoned and a little bit crispy. Just right on their own, with toppings, or on the side. The deserts are all GF and some DF as well. Had a pumpkin spice muffin the other day that was amaizing - light, fluffy and perfect ratio of spice to sweetness. My (non-GF) kids & husband LOVED the GF brownies I brought home for them. I wish I could eat there everyday!

This place is adorable and SO safe for allergies! When I arrived, they asked if I wanted a GF menu, dairy free menu, or regular menu. When I ordered, he asked if there were any other allergies or issues besides gluten free. Food was great. They are so friendly here! Great option for GF, DF, vegan, or any other allergies!

The most cheerful staff greeted us at this cute little hideaway not far off 95 north. Since we were headed to New Hampshire for a football game, we didn’t have time to stop for breakfast but we did pick up some yummy gluten free donuts! The darling young woman who waited on us said The owner has celiac disease and makes some really wonderful muffins! We’ll be back when we have more time!

I am Celiac, my husband is not. The food here is amazing. As soon as you walk in they ask if you’d like a regular menu, gluten free, vegan or dairy free. They take it very seriously. Every one is so kind and the place is adorable. As a celiac I appreciate this so much. Go here no question about it!
It’s not just a gluten allergy here. It’s Celiac!

First time visit to the Purple Rooster today. Went for lunch. The chef is gluten free and she and her server are extremely knowledgeable about their food and keeping your choices safe. I had a tuna club sandwich that was delicious. I felt like a normal person. They have an entire menu that is GF and a separate menu for those who don’t need it. They’re open fro breakfast and lunch. They have bakery items as well. I highly recommend you visiting Diana at the Purple Rooster! I’ll be back with friends.

So good, they have a ton of options and are 100% celiac safe and know how to handle any allergies. The owner is the only person who cooks and is very knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable eating here and I'm excited to visit again! They even have extra products up front from bakery items to take home meals.

Had a great experience dining here! Atmosphere was very whimsical and the floor appeared to be recently torn up…. Looked unfinished. But the safety precautions were amazing, food was delicious and the staff, Diana (owner/ chef) and her son, Martin (waiter) were wonderful. My 9 year old with Celiac’s loved the huge menu and options for breakfast, lunch, and baked goods! Will certainly return. Highly recommend.

Great food and knowledgeable staff. I’ve eaten here many times and have never had an issue
Yes
I was hoping to love this place but it wasn’t worth the drive. We were the only people in the whole place for awhile on a Saturday morning, and service was incredibly aloof. For a family of 4 having pancakes it was also very expensive, 75$ for breakfast with two orders off the kids menu. My pancakes were just ok. I couldn’t seem to put enough syrup on for them to be moist. They seem to take great precautions and have a large menu, but at the end of the day taste matters.

Delicious food and great options. Wonderful environment as my son played with various game pieces while we ate.
Tons of gluten free options and very Celiac friendly! I come here all the time. Love the home fries and the breakfast bake!

Great place, good food. Wish it was open more often.

Great selection on their separate GF menu. It was hard to choose! We went for breakfast. The blueberry pancakes were GREAT! Bought a few dessert to go!
Dedicated kitchen space and menu with a friendly, homey feel
Yes
The atmosphere and the food are disappointing. It’s GF but again, not worth the trip, we were the only diners and still couldn’t get the sever to pay atttention. Bottled juice was warm and such a planet killer, had I known they served that way I would have opted for water.
Yes
Best gf stuffed French toast!! Also ordered their gravy for Thanksgiving and it was so good!

Great place for Celiacs. Tried the elManuel today. Yummy! Took home some sweets to try! Great local place. I recommend highly!
Yes
Love this place!!! Got gluten free french toast, sausages, and a peanut butter chocolate chip muffins and a chocolate chip cookies. So delicious and they gave me so much confidence that their gf items are all prepared in a designated space. They serve the gf food on a round plate instead of square to differentiate it from gluten food.
I can not say enough great things about this place!! The food is amazing, the wait staff and owner are not only knowledgeable but so friendly. The interior is so eclectic, it’s like eating in your own home (on one side, and a small diner on the other) I love that they have order/pickup service, and they have a small bakery! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yes
Fabulous food, very knowledgeable staff-we will return! Very berry French toast was awesome as was the bacon and tomato grilled cheese💜love that it’s lgbt friendly and cute eclectic vibe! Vegan and veg options too💜
We were immediately asked about food allergies, the owner explained that meals are plated differently so that the gluten-free is easily identifiable, the menu was fabulous
