I tried to order an item marked as gluten free on the menu. Follow up questions resulted in them saying that it was not at all gluten free. It was panko breaded.

It's not safe to eat here.

The Refectory is my go-to G-F restaurant. Staff are knowledgeable and the chef will come out to speak with you. I’ve even had staff warn me about foods that my husband orders that I might be tempted to nibble in (like his fries)! I am extremely gluten sensitive and have never had a problem. The menu & signs are clearly marked G-F. Food is great & selection is good.

Hoping I just had an unknowledgeable waiter but was told that they don’t have a GF fryer. Lots of items marked GF on menu I couldn’t eat anymore

Food and service was excellent. Table was marked with a *celiac* note when we arrived. Menu clearly labeled GF, V, and DF items. Server was very knowledgeable about CC and even noted our friend’s meal as needing to avoid CC since he knew I would be sharing some of hers. Had GF meatball appetizer, halibut for main course, and a GF, vegan passion fruit cheesecake for dessert. Can’t wait to go back.

Just ate here for breakfast and they were so accommodating. They had gluten free bread and gluten free buns that were delicious. There were also several GF desserts that looked delicious. Lots of vegan stuff as well. Everything is clearly marked on the menu and staff is knowledgeable and careful about allergies.

Got glutened here today. I told the cashier that I have Celiac and she seemed knowledgable. I may have failed by picking a grilled chicken sandwich off the specials menu, and forgot to ask if that specific dish is gluten free. I did specifically ask for gluten free bread, and with a side of grilled veggies. Everything tasted fantastic but it only took me 15 minutes to realized I had been glutened. Very sad, but may try again some day!

The best BLT on GF bread you will ever have. Not sure what brand of GF bread they use but it's the same size of a regular loaf of bread. So so good!

So good! I went for breakfast. Had gluten free sandwich and had the baked oatmeal (chief said it was all gluten free ingredients but oats were not certified gluten free). I'm gluten intolerant and did not get sick.

Food was good and they had clearly marked GF items on the menu. Even have GF baked goods. Table service needs some work. The order of our food got mixed up and our salads came after our main dishes. The owner seems genuine though.
