They have a bakery with gluten free items separate from gluten so no contamination. Try the gf carrot cake muffins. To die for! Also, best burger in town.

Owner and staff were amazing. Owner has gluten free dessert/bakery items and said she would ask chef to add dairy free/gluten free. They were willing to modify a lot for me on the menu but it also was not busy. I order filet and veggies with just olive oil s&p. They cooked my steak in skillet by itself so I had no issues. Nice place, food is good and just knowing that people actually care makes all the difference.

Asked about gluten free options for a celiac was told the kitchen said they could accommodate and had a separate area. My food arrived with gluten containing home fries on the plate. Before she took it away I cut the sandwich so they couldn’t give me the same one back. When the “new” sandwich was brought all the toppings were upside down and the meat inside cut in half just as I had done prior to sending back. Asked for the manager and the cook came instead and told me he himself threw it out and made a new one. Then the hostess came and said that it was a different sandwich because someone in the kitchen ate my sent back sandwich. Needless to say I didn’t touch any of it as they couldn’t even get their lies straight! Seriously skip this place. -10

Went for an oatmilk latte and got a GF carrot cake cupcake to go along with it! Al the GF items are In a separate case. It was moist and so yummy.

We stopped here for brunch - I had eggs Benedict on a burger bun - but still delicious! The side of potatoes are fried in the same fryer as gluten containing items so they aren’t celiac safe. Our place we were staying at was close by here so we ended up visiting a few times. We got a couple of appetizers for takeout - the brussel sprouts and the burrata appetizer. They also have gluten free carrot cake and I had cake almost everyday because it was SO good!! I can definitely recommend this place for the carrot cake alone!

OK food, but no reaction. Had to ask the waiter a few times what I could have but he made sure to tell the kitchen it was a “gluten allergy”

This place is ahhhhhmazing! They are very well versed in gluten intolerance / celiac. The salmon was exquisite...so exquisite I returned today for the GF pancakes. Madison is a gem and took great care of me! She makes a mean drink as well. ;-) I would come here everyday if I lived in SC.

We went to The Refuge for breakfast on a Sunday. They had live music - a really good guitar player. The staff was great about gluten free. We were told by the hostess to be sure to tell our waitress that our family members were gluten free/Celiac. Our waitress totally got it and was very helpful. They had eggs and bacon. We will be going back during our vacation!
Yes
They have delicious gluten free pancakes and the omelettes are huge. No reaction to either.
