The Rosecomb

The Rosecomb is a great gluten-free location in Chattanooga! It has a fun bohemian vibe and great cocktails. Everything on their menu either IS gluten free or can be made gluten free.

I had the grilled cornbread with honey herb butter (the server even asked if I would like it to be grilled separately from their gluten-containing ingredients), the broken potatoe s and the roasted spring vegetables.

They also had good standard options for my husband (not gluten free OR plant-based). He had the deviled eggs and the pulled chicken sandwich.

Their dessert offering was a vanilla Panna Cotta with mixed berry compote. For drinks I had the Desert Solitaire and the Florist Gump and my husband had the Hardings Orchard and the Old Tortuga.

One of our favorite places that can do all menu items gluten free. Cozy atmosphere and great cocktails. All menu items are generally shareable and great for a date night! Anyone marking this as 1 star because there is “no GF information on the menu” just didn’t ask any questions to learn there is no need since everything is, or can be made, gluten free.

One of the owners has Celiac, so the menu is crafted to allow every dish to have a GF option. I love this place and come often. Their Fried Catfish Sando is one of my favorites, and I loved having delicious GF buttery toast with Pimento Cheese!

Rosecomb proves that food can be gluten-free AND delicious. Everything here is amazing and nearly everything is GF. They do offer normal bread/buns, but they have GF bread and buns and know how to keep celiacs safe. Can’t recommend Rosecomb enough!

This is my go-to for brunch and dinner in Chattanooga. Everyone is super knowledgeable and the owner has Celiac so they are super safe. Nothing with gluten is actually made in the kitchen, they import their gluten containing bread/buns from a local bakery, so that reduces the concern of cross-contamination. I've eaten here dozens of times, tried pretty much everything on the menu and never felt the slightest bit I'll. Can't recommend it enough. It is 21+ at all times and no pets allowed in the garden because they have lots of plants that promote pollinators!

This place was awesome. Go here!! The owner is celiac and although the menu is small, everything is either GF or can be made GF! Also accomodating for other allergies. One of our friends is allergic to eggs and our waiter Chris was able to tell her what she could safely have. Our party split the broken potatoes, cornbread, and artichoke dip (this was my fave - in house made GF chips too!) I had the RC burger and it was delish. Fun atmosphere too! Make a reservation in advance - very limited seating.

Everything I’ve ever tried has been amazing from the drinks to the appetizers and grilled cheese. The owner has celiac and most everything can be made gluten free. Servers are very knowledgeable and it’s always been a safe place for me.

Menu is mostly gf. But there are several sandwiches/burgers on the menu with non-gf bread and buns. Gf bread and buns are available. Smallis kitchen, so there is some concern with cross contamination.

Rosecomb has THE best food and their entire menu is gluten free or has options to be gluten free. I’ve eaten at restaurants that claim to be gluten free and have gotten sick, but never at rosecomb.
