I am really torn about leaving this review as the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I had really great service and our waiter and kitchen staff went out of their way to make sure I had safe food to eat. That said, if you are celiac or highly sensitive/ allergic, I would not recomend eating here. Most of the items listed gluten free include items in a shared fryer. At least two of those that didn't have fried items included soy sauce, though are listed as gluten free. I got an appetizer and my gluten eating partner thought it might have soy sauce. I asked about it (thankful before trying), and waiter confirmed it was. The entree I ordered I found out also did, though when the waiter and kitchen staff learned soy sauce has wheat in it, they went out of their way to check the rest of the ingredients and made a really beautiful dish I could safey eat ( and I did not get sick). I was incredibly appreciative of this, and while I can recommend this restaurant for service, atmosphere and beautiful presentation, I can not recommend for anyone who needs to follow a GF diet.

Showed up at 8:30 and was told they where closed. The hours on the door said 9:00. We Drove many miles so this was disappointing. I used to work in the restaurant industry and this is a big no no. Even if you have no customers all night you stay open for your listed hours.
I got extremely sick and was so upset :(. I told them I have celiacs/ allergy and they assured me it would all be gf. I told them I had a plane to catch in the next couple hours, so if anything seemed questionable to let me know and I’ll get something else or nothing. I got a gf sandwich and the bread was an extra 5$ to be gf. I also had fries which they said were in their own dedicated frier with no cross contamination. They didn’t recommend the deserts because they wouldn’t guarantee it was safe, so I didn’t get one. Two hours later I got extremely sick and was flying on a plane while throwing up constantly. All the reviews were so good so I’m not sure what happened, but take precautions or stay away. I never eat out before a plane ride and never will again.

We had an excellent experience! The food is flavorful and the portions were generous. We ordered the GF fried pickle appetizer. We ordered three GF entrees and all had many layers of flavor: Bolognese (sub GF pasta), the cake plate, and the fish and chips. For dessert there was a wide range of GF and Vegan options. We ordered 3 GF cupcakes and a GF Macaroon to go. The cupcakes we ordered were the tiramisu, the chocolate cheesecake, and the chocolate silk cream. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive.

Super delicious food! Pricey, but worth it as a treat. The brussel spouts were the best I’ve ever had and I love brussel sprouts! The garlic sauce version were wonderful. SO nice feeling confident that they had the gluten free thing down. Loved it!!!

Really outstanding dish of salmon salad..just saying that does not come near the experience. First, the presentation is glorious (no substitutions I was told, the chef has his/her own way, no problem, I gave my tomatoes to hubby) Put a mouth full of salmon and creamy lettuce in my mouth and went straight to Heaven. The salmon was smoked! Nice surprise! Sooo delicious, took half home for dinner. Anyway, service was very aware of serving someone with gluten issues. They have the menu marked, and quite a nice selection of GF desserts among their very large baked goods display. There were about 4 different GF chocolate type cupcakes and very large cookies..which I had. Delicious, so save room for dessert! Lovely understanding service!

OMG…Had an amazing dinner and felt that they took it very serious to provide a GF meal. The owner stopped by a couple of times to check on us. My husband really enjoyed his meal as well. At first he wasn’t too sure but couldn’t say enough good. Also, great bakery vegan, gf, sugar free. Also, portions are very generous.

Definitely a foodie’s place & a bit pricy but for those of us that miss those types of things it’s great. (No substitutions except to make GF) Almost everything can be GF, the food and presentation was amazing. Lots of dairy free and vegetarian options as well. The people were very sweet all around.

We just had a stunning meal. The variety of gf options is excellent. The staff are knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. It is clear that while not a dedicated gf facility, extreme care is taken. We could not have asked for a better meal; outstanding flavor and preparation.

Very knowledgeable staff and owner. GF menu options are clearly marked. Understands cross contamination.
Most of the menu is GF. Every single detail of every menu item is well thought out. I’ve known I have celiac for 4 years and now, and have eaten at many restaurants across the country. None compare to The Yellow Carrot. The food is naturally excellent, and my non-GF family were thrilled at everything they ordered as well. The food doesn’t even taste GF. It’s just amazing.
The ambiance is a combination of classy, eclectic, fun, and casual.

Must go! Delicious! Extensive gf menu, amazing people, adorable decor. Most items made with almond flour and a profound awareness for taste and gf production. This is one of those that feels like freedom to eat when walking in the door.

Extensive, delicious gluten free options available. Mac and Cheese bar is epic. Desserts are plentiful. Chef/owner is awesome!

Fantastic breakfast. Great GF options, no reaction. Love this place. Only downside...they are pricey.
I had the Italian Chicken Salad and it was excellent. Full of flavor in each bite. The chef was our waitress as well and was able to answer any questions. The salads were quite a good sized portion, my husband called them large. He is not usually a salad person but he really liked the Chimmichurri Steak salad and said it is exactly what it sounds like.
So many options! Owner is aware of CC and has many items to offer. Plus there is a bakery that has many GF options too! I had the lemon chicken, a coffee with GF biscotti, a GF cookie and cupcake to go! I will be back.

GF cupcakes and Jack Daniels brownies are amazing. Great for special occasions. To pricy to stop by regularly.
The GF deserts are Devine, as well as their soups, but the extra $3.50 for the GF bread is NOT worth it - the GF bread for their sandwiches is not THAT good . . . Actually quite disappointed with it as I know their deserts, chips and soups are amazing.
