Small kitchen. Chef will come talk to you and make everything to order. I’m gf, df and nut free, and he always takes care to ask about substitutions. Like olive oil for butter. He can’t do all the menu items, but makes great suggestions and the food is delicious

The lamb shank with gluten free gnocchi is of the gods. This place is my go to for flavorful, comforting food. I feel very safe eating here as a Celiac.
Compliments of the chef.

Chef Abe fed us carefully before the dinner hour, so he wore all the hats—server, buster, chef... My son is corn-sensitive, too, and he was careful to communicate thoroughly and ask plenty of questions about what was safe. In addition, the food was 5-star fare! I had the Paella and the Zuave salad. Everything was supreme.

Excellent, very accommodating with my allergies. Staff was helpful with suggestions. They surprised me with a plate if gluten free crackers with cheese, tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. I loved the fact that I got an appetizer while everyone else was enjoying bread. Nice touch! Definitely will be back when I am in town.

If 10 stars were an option I would give it to Chef Abe, his wife Connie and their restaurant. The food was absolutely incredible! I have celiac and an allergy to soy and had zero issues. Chef Abe even said he'd make specific dishes gluten free in future if I simply call in advance a day or two. Connie was so kind and brought me a tasty little treat as a bread alternative when she brought bread for my husband. And I didn't even ask her to do this because I'm just used to not having the table bread. Not only was it tasty, it was a kind thing to do. I hope to spend many an evening here for dinner.

Excellent food, many GF options. The family run restaurant is outstanding! Chicken Marsala, lamb shank, gnocchi Aurora. All superb! The chef (owner) came to check on us as well. A most pleasant and satisfying evening!

Love this small neighborhood Mediterranean restaurant in Ravenna. The pasta dishes can be made gluten free and if you call ahead, the chef is happy to make the eggplant parmigiana gluten free. We tried the gf gnocchi with homemade pesto and it was wonderful. The gluten free paella was stuffed with seafood and had amazing flavor. The chef understands about avoiding cross contamination and is happy to discuss menu options. There's a nice deck out back for al fresco dining and occasional live music.
