Tio Taco + Tequila

The waitress was very confident that their tacos are on corn tortillas and reassured me that they would clean and prepare mine in a separate area to make sure they were safe, which made me think that they would handle things well. After taking a few bites of my food and looking at the tortillas more closely I'm 99% sure they were at least partially wheat flour. I asked her if she was sure they weren't flour tortillas and she said that they definitely weren't, but they were slightly translucent and stretchy and also tasted like flour tortillas so based on that and my symptoms, I don't trust them at all.

Ate here twice when it first opened. First time had a to taco and my was fine 2nd time had the brisket taco and was immediately sick. Won't chance it again. Just thinking about it makes me ill

NOT gluten free, and staff was very ignorant and rude. Do not recommend. I couldn’t stop getting sick after eating here.

I got so sick from eating here, the most sick I have been in a long while. The next day I spoke with the manager and he defended his GF status and just kept talking about his kitchen being safe.

I eat out often but will never return to this establishment. Their are much better options available in the area.

I've visited this restaurant twice - takeout each time but I ordered at the restaurant - not over the phone. Both times I felt that the women taking my order were knowledgeable and also checked with the kitchen staff on items she wasn't sure of (different person each time). I felt this was going to be a good experience unfortunately both times I was sick to my stomach. The 1st time I had blamed tequila thinking maybe I had a bit to much to drink. The 2nd time I had no alcohol and neither time did my non-celiac husband get sick. I have removed this restaurant as a viable option for my dinners out.
