Hands down one of my favorite gluten free eats! French fries and burgers are amazing! You don’t have to worry here at all. We go here biweekly if not more. Great place for kids too! Desserts made gluten free as well!

I’ve gone here several times and never had a reaction. The food is delicious!

There aren’t many restaurants we can go where we can get fried chicken sandwiches, so I was so excited my Nashville Chicken Sandwich on a gluten free bun with Sweet Potato Tater Tots were all gluten free, made in a decorated fryer, and delicious! The honey sriracha aioli served with the tots was a delicious combo of sweet and spicy. The fried chicken was huge and so juicy and crunchy. Absolutely amazing! A large variety of menu items are labeled GF or GFO. Unfortunately my waitress was confused about the dedicated fryer. She went back to talk to the kitchen and they said they are completely capable of cooking my food safely and to not worry. I will be coming back when in the area for sure!

I would not recommend Toast for people with Celiac disease. We had ordered out last evening when we were visiting our son in Richmond, VA. This morning he had a severe stomach cramps and diarrhea. My 27 year old son has Downs Syndrome and has been diagnosed with Celiac disease for 2 years and he can not even tolerate gluten cross contamination.

A good, basic meal, nothing fancy but completely safe. They are very educated about cross contamination and I fell completely fine after the meal. A win for me!

This restaurant has an excellent selection of gluten free options on their menu. Additionally, the wait staff are excellent at following up on other food allergies and alerting you to hidden items in food. I’m gluten intolerant and my niece is allergic to garlic. After the order was placed the waitress came back to alert her garlic was in one of the dressings and they switched it out. Again, great gluten free options that taste wonderful and so on top of other food allergies.

Very celiac aware. Had yummy shrimp tacos safely and I'm a very sensitive celiac. We ordered online for takeout but there were also gluten free desserts listed when we were at the restaurant not listed online so call to check those if interested!

Holy sh*t is this place good. Very well laid out and marked menu. Great dishes. Knowledgeable staff. The bacon Gouda sliders are a great appetizer. Visited RVA for 5 days and ate here three of those days.

Had an excellent experience. I cannot believe how many options they have that are gluten free. They have a dedicated fryer and they had a fried chicken sandwich that was amazing. They have so many unique items that you can’t get anywhere else. They have a chocolate cake that is good. A little dry, but delicious.

There are many gluten free options that are tasty, they have gluten free bread for sandwiches, and I believe they have a separate fryer for fries.

While they say they are gluten free they don’t take steps to prevent cross contamination. I spoke with my waiter and asked if he was familiar with Celiac’s and he said he was. I ordered all GF from the menu yet the server had my plate together with another one that had gluten. I would not eat there it you have celiac’s.

Fantastic restaurant! All gluten free options are labeled on the menu & many great options. Had a delicious gluten free Cuban sandwich. The service was excellent too.

Our waiter was very knowledgeable and knew the menu very well. The menu is clearly labeled with things that are GF and things that have GF options. The food is very good. Although there is a lot of meat, they do have vegetarian options.

Delicious! I had a gf panini with the Parmesan fries. Also had peppermint brownie for dessert! What a treat!

Truffle fries with the house made ketchup are to die for. Gumbo is delicious. Service is often slow. Some meals are really good and reasonably priced and others not so much. Staff takes allergies seriously, but when in doubt with your plate double check. There have been changes to the menu in the kitchen without the servers knowing, but they are always accommodating and will field questions/concerns.

Not a lot of gf options for brunch. Gf waffles aren't the best... however, staff very nice and try to accommodate.

In visiting for the weekend. This recommendation is great. Great options for GF. Waitress was knowledgeable about GF. Food was great. GF Waffles were delicious and the BELT with GF Bread was yummy. Atmosphere has a cool vibe. Enjoy!

I had heard so many positive things about Toast's menu and their ability to handle gluten-free needs. However, I found a piece of pasta in my a bite of rice. It had fallen into the pot of rice during preparation and been cooked into my meal. I understand mistakes happen, but its just not worth the risk for me to eat here again.
