You're as safe as your cross contamination sensitivity. You can get a bowl of ice cream, without gluten ingredients. They do rinse the scooper between every scoop. I don't know how well that rinse protects anything, but someone sensitive who can handle the potential of cross contamination may be okay. I would not say gluten safe.

Nothing gluten free here! Think they could care less about anyone with celiac disease!
Our son has celiac disease and we called the store with the hope that a reasonable accommodation - opening a new carton of ice cream and using a sanitized scoop - would be possible. Really disappointed that the person with whom I spoke refused to be willing to do that -even when the issue of contamination was explained. Sad I can't bring our son out for ice cream.
