Delicious tacos and chips and guacamole. Nice atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. Many gluten-free options, they actually mark the menu with item that HAVE gluten. Pretty cool. Highly recommended and safe for celiacs.

Separate fryer for chips, had some guac, got the carne asada dinner, was told the entire dish was safe. Turned out fine!

I didn’t dig too far into the menu, but was told much of it was GF. Overall great experience with a margarita as well (basic ingredients and not a mix).

Food was decent. Small portions and the server brought out the wrong meal for me which was not gluten free. I questioned the meal before trying it.

Very good. Busy restaurant. Was told chips were made in a dedicated fryer. Had a lobster taco. Loved it. They said my order was flagged in kitchen to avoid cross contamination.

Small portions but great taste! Our table ordered the steak, chicken, fish (not GF), and lobster tacos. At about $20 per dish we wished there were more than just 2 smaller tacos and no sides. No kid menu either.

Delicious! Staff was knowledgeable about gluten. The tacos are amazing (two tacos and a generous portion of black beans and rice). Spicy Guacamole was perfect.

Delicious and very attentive to the two GF members of our family! Almost everything except quesadillas and fish and one of the types of beef tacos were GF. Chips and guacamole were delicious, too :) highly recommend lobster tacos.

Delicious tacos! We came here after another restaurant was very clear that they could not guarantee safe gluten free food. This restaurant had a dedicated gluten free fryer and made note of an allergy. Most of their menu is gf and only the items that aren’t gf are marked! A great dinner!

Such delicious Mexican food! Because it’s right next to one of the theaters, the restaurant is very quick with orders, which is great if you are in a rush. The chips and guacamole are gluten free and the wait staff knew exactly what I could eat. The menu is labeled with tiny little symbols for dairy, nuts and gluten, so it’s easy to confirm what is safe.

Waitress was well informed, double checked an item for me. Chips are celiac safe! Mezcal drinks were excellent. Octopus tostada was tasty, as well as the lobster & barilla tacos.

This is excellent Mexican food, and most of their menu is gluten free. The waiters understand right away if you have issues with cross contamination. Definitely recommend and is great with celiac disease.

Staff seemed to know what was happening and I enjoyed my food. I did feel a little uneasy as some items listed as gluten free such as the salsa in the tacos has been said to not be. I just got the Carne Asada with corn tortiallad and didnt touch the rice because of fear the seasoning had gluten.

Several GF options on the menu. Interestingly, the rice they serve is not GF due to the flavoring they add. I was told by the Mgr that the chips were cooked in separate frier (this is contrary to what others report, so beware). I had the Asada tacos and did not get sick. I'm very sensitive to cross-contamination.

I didn't get sick eating at the location on UES 80s but I did contact the restaurant by EMAIL after reading a few negative reviews. They revealed that the chips are not in a dedicated fryer therefore "not really gluten free" and the salsa is made with peppers canned with soy sauce. Sucks not having a reliable Mexican spot in my neighborhood. Not worth risking.

The staff has awareness of food allergies. GF menu was available. My daughter has celiac and also has a dairy allergy. She had the carne asada. The waiter told us that the rice has some butter. We had no issues. Though they are careful about cross-contact (aka cross-contamination), the guacamole appears to be prepared on the same area as the wood oven where the flour tortillas are baked. )

The server was very knowledgeable and gluten-free options are clearly marked on the menu. The chips are GF as are the guacamole and green salsa. Lots of options. Smaller portions on some items but great food and service!

The food was delicious but the service was disappointing from a GF perspective. We initially asked what items were GF and were told they were denoted on the menu. When ordering the waitress scolded me for not reiterating that it needs to be GF which was fine since I should have. Later we ordered guacamole and it was also listed on the menu as gluten free. It came with salsa which the waitress confirmed was GF even though this app said it wasn't. After eating the guacamole the waitress came back and said not only was the salsa not gluten free but it was also in the guacamole we had ordered and had been eating. Very unprofessional to confirm two items were GF when they were not without as much as an apology.

Very nice waiter. But definitely not a celiac friendly restaurant. There is soy sauce in their salsa so he offered green salsa which was good. I wanted fried food and their only dedicated fryer was for tortilla chips. I felt mislead by their description on this app.

Amazing food with so many GF options! The queso fundido w/chorizo, oh my goodness; it'll come with corn tortillas once you tell your server you're GF. My celiac kids feasted and were so happy. Excellent service and the margaritas are delightful too!

Great place, yesterday was my first time there. As soon as I mentioned "gluten free" the waiter made absolutely sure to ask the kitchen if every dish he was bringing was gluten free, that besides having a lot of dishes clearly identified as being gluten free, made might night. Everybody was extremely nice. My friend didn't even notice I picked this place because of my issue with gluten :). Conveniently located in front of a subway stop and with nice happy crowd. I has become one of my places to go.
