Ordered a gf sandwich. Watched the cook touch regular bread and then reach into the bag of gf bread. He didnt change gloves and he put my sandwich on the regular grill. I stopped the manager and told him what the cook did, he got pissed and started throwing dishes and food. Threw the skillet on to the side cooking area. Slammed cabinet doors and huffed and puffed like I was bothering him. There were 2 other people already seated in the resturant, so it wasn't like they were busy. Calls and emails to corporate remain unanswered.

The owner was who waited on us. She was amazingly understanding of my daughter's Celiac Disease & Lactose Intolerance. She took the GF bread and made the sandwich in a separate area to avoid cross-contamination. She also gave her a bowl of mixed fresh fruit for free, so that she could enjoy dessert with us.

I ordered a gluten free kids meal for my Celiac daughter and stressed the importance of it not coming into contact with other gluten. Cashier was clueless and had to have a guy from the back come up. He assured me that gluten free was prepared in its own area. So cashier asks "what kind of bread would you like on that?" Ugh! The guy took over and when it was delivered to the table it had a pack of crackers on it. Next time we will go to Azzip where we never have a problem.

Yum! Tom + Chee boasts delicious gluten free options- including salads, grilled cheese (on Udi's bread), soup, and more. I enjoyed my meal and was comforted by the fact that the staff seemed quite knowledgeable. As soon as we quickly mentioned celiac disease, the cashier nodded and said they would treat it like a food allergy. Also, their menu had little gluten free symbols next to safe items. I also liked that the restaurant left out a bag of oyster crackers on my plate (at least I know they're attentive!). I would recommend this yummy casual quick restaurant.
They are careful with gluten free options. I’ve been eating there for a while now and I have not had any cross contamination. All gluten free items are marked on the menu.

NO GF BREAD. Had 1 soup that was gf. No gf bread, said they’ve been out for a while even though it says gluten free options on the board. Would give 0 stars

When ordering, we were told that they were out of gluten free bread. I asked when they would have more because my 18 year old celiac was looking forward to a good grilled cheese and tomato soup. The guy in charge (their manager maybe, he didn't offer that title, but was aware of their delivery schedule) told me he was absolutely certain that their rye bread was gluten free.
I (too nicely, probably) let him know that wheat, barley, and rye all contain gluten and there is no way his rye bread is gluten free. Had we been new to celiac disease, we might have believed him. I will be emailing their corporate office to let them know more education is necessary. Tread caredully here. I now do not trust their gluten free grill...

Ordered and the kitchen help came out to let us know part of the order contained gluten. Substituted and no issues. Delicious!
