Had a nice long conversation with the owner, and he assured that everything they make is gf. He even explained that their injera bread is totally gf. He also explained that some types of injera bread (a staple of Ethiopian cuisine) are made with teff AND wheat flour, but not the kind they make at this restaurant. They just use teff flour which is naturally gf. I enjoyed my vegetarian platter meal; was enough food for 2 people. Was very tasty, but Ethiopian food is not for everyone. The Ethiopian tea was lovely, too. Kind of a hole in the wall in a crappy strip mall, but definitely worth a trip for the great food and friendly owner. No outdoor seating, but they do take out.

— Good
While the server (owner?) assured us the injera bread was wheat free, he was clearly not used to talking about gluten and had limited English. Having read other reviews we weren't too worried, nor did we need to be: my celiac had no reactions and greatly enjoyed the bread and meat. The service was also friendly and the prices very reasonable. Will be back!

The whole menu is GF, and they are very lovely owners. Celiac friendly, as all their teff flour is certified gf, and their food is incredibly delicious. My husband and I literally dreamt about going back. So we did. Still amazing and no reaction.
