I am extremely sensitive to gluten, and I've eaten at Twigs dozens of times and have never gotten sick. This is the only gluten free restaurant in Rochester that I don't get sick at. They have a separate gluten free kitchen to make sure there is zero cross contamination!

I seriously cannot believe that anyone that is on a strict GF diet would have anything bad to say about this place! I live in Seattle WA where there are plenty of GF options, and this is by far the best place I have ever eaten. Their food is amazing, they have so many options that I could eat here for two weeks and never have the same meal, and their staff is wonderful. I never once got sick from eating here. THANK YOU FOR EXISTING, it made my trip to Rochester MN so much better!

Twigs has a varied menu that includes gluten free appetizers, warm gluten free bread, with an impressive number of side dishes and entrees. Twigs has a dedicated fryer and they go to great lengths to avoid cross contamination. The food is so good, you'd never know it's gluten free. I just wish that the Twigs Restaurant was available in other cities, and they would educate restaurants throughout the United States. Restaurants could learn a lot from Twigs, as many advertise a gluten free menu, when they don't really have a gluten free menu in the least. What many restaurants have, is a standard gluten filled menu, with key ingredients, that will be excluded when serving gluten free customers. These under serving restaurants, rely heavily on salads, and serve entrees, burgers and sandwiches without the requisite bread. Well, that's not a gluten free menu! These underperforming restaurants, fail to plan at all! They exclude the crackers that should come with the dip, and exclude the bun that should come with the burger. They toss a salad and omit the wheat dusted nuts, cheeses and traditional croutons,. They cook the fish, meat, or vegetables and omit the marinades, dry rubs and sauces. They make a stir fry dish without the soy sauce! Omitting the flavorful glazes, condiments, soups and basting sauces, will result in a dry and tasteless meal. This is just laziness, as gluten free marinades and soy sauces are easily purchased by restaurants through local suppliers, or the Internet. Customers who are gluten free deserve a complete and varied menu. It just takes a little consideration, preparation and planning. Check out Twigs, as they prepare very good food for gluten free, and unrestricted diets as well. You'll feel so welcomed and appreciated, as customers agree it's a great place to enjoy a wonderful GF meal. You'll be so glad you did!

By far my favorite restaurant and the ONLY restaurant after being diagnosed that I always feel safe eating at! Very knowledgeable staff and awesome food! Parmesan Polenta with Egg and Jalapeno Cream Sauce is to die for! :)

Took my son to eat there. We both ordered off of the gluten free menu and everything was really good. It was great to get french fries again!! Everyone was really friendly and it was a great experience.

My husband has celiac and reacts to any cross contamination. We absolutely love to eat at Twigs, their food is awesome!..both GF and non GF. The last time we were there they told us they are thinking of switching their kitchen around to accommodate the increasing number of GF clients. We don't eat out very often so they wouldn't recognize us if we walked in, but last time the hostess even asked if anyone in our party would like a GF menu! We highly recommend you try this restaurant for a GF (and nonGF option). We love it!

Thank you! Finally somewhere to eat that understands celiacs want real food, not just copycat processed gluten carbs. Nice to have a real menu to choose from with so many choices. Especially enjoyed the hot rocks to share.

Love this place! I visit every time I'm in Rochester! Cooked a meal on the 'hot rock' and had the Asian tacos this time - both were very good.

Had gf bread to snack on. But the Philly with gf bun was the best bun I've ever had!! Grew up in Rochester and wish I still lived there so I could come here all the time!

GF onion rings were great and plentiful. Menu had lots of options - mashed asparagus potatoes were great ! but the bun with onion tangle burger left a little to be desired and I was hopIng that someplace wIth a GF chef mIght have acomplIshed the "bun" Issue.Daughter had the polenta dish and it was very good to a non Gf diner. Many other entRees looked interesting will have to try again! Hot rock cooking was a hit with hubby.

We were asked upon arrival if a g/f menu was needed. The experience went downhill from there. Initial impression was less than optimal as carpets visably needed cleaned and the table we were seated at still had water rings and crumbs from the last guests. The server pointed me to the section of 'thin pastry' topped w/ various things. We ordered the g/f onion rings and enjoyed those. The 'thin pastry' was actually a pre-made pizza crust, cut in half. Blech. Other observations, the tzatziki sauce is made in house, and isn't actually tzatziki and did nothing to enhance the chicken skewers. Bottom line: it is appreciable a g/f menu exists there, but that in itself isn't enough to make this a repeat experience. Pricier than the food merits. Almost had the spaghetti another reviewer enjoyed, but didn't want to spend $13.99 for lunch. (It took close to an hr and a half to have lunch.)

As soon as I walked in I was asked if I needed a gluten free menu before I even said anything! It's a physically separate one and it's extensive. They brought me gf bread separately from my family's and brought my meal separately. Awesome!

I eat at Twigs ALL the time because I do have a gluten free diet and the extent they have gone to for people like me is appreciated so much! Not only have I never had a bad meal, the prices are very affordable as well! Thanks for all you do for us celiac customers!

Awful. Yes they have a large gluten free menu, but they can't even cook a simple chicken breast well.
