These are the best sandwiches my family has had, both gluten free and not. The sandwiches had a lot of flavor, there are a ton of options, and my husband (celiac) had no issues on the three visits we have made here. We stop here every time we drive through Grand Rapids.

This isn’t just delicious. It’s stupidly delicious!! We had the best GF sandwiches of our lives! Tons of vegetarian & vegan GF options.

The lady who took my order greeted me with a big smile when I mentioned celiac/gluten allergy, then described their precautions to keep my sandwich GF. I really appreciate friendly service and not being made to feel like a burden. I didn’t want red onions on my Old Dutch and she suggested caramelized onions which was delicious. Great service, great sandwich! The 1/2 size was way more than enough food.

This place is amazing. I ordered the Steven Spielberg and it was so good. They were very knowledgeable and when I asked for the GF bread they asked me if it was an allergy and I said yes and they took the necessary precautions.

Picked up a sandwich here on my way back home to Detroit. I walked in and talked with one if the guys behind the counter. I explained that I have Celiac disease and asked how they handled food allergies (I know it isn’t an allergy, but people understand it more that way). He said they had Gluten free bread and a separate area that they make the sandwiches to avoid cross contamination. I ordered The Shakespeare. Great sandwich! The bread ended up falling apart when I was almost done, but it tasted great! No reactions.

I had the tuna salad (Triton) on gluten free bread. Good thing I got the half order because it was filling. Bread sort of fell apart, but it was very soft and tasted great.

Sooo many different sandwiches! Every time I go I try a new one and I have never left disappointed or sick.

Leave a few extra minutes to decide... they have that many options.

They have gluton free breads and soups. Tell them that you Celiacs and they will take precautions to assure no cross contamination.

Gluten Free bread is good! Can make any sandwich gluten free. Just let them know about your allergy/Celiac.

The cashier told me the old manager had Celiac and told them how to prepare, which was comforting to me. Sandwich was huge, even the half size. Pretty good but bread fell apart easy.

(gluten allergy) All of their sandwiches can be substituted with GF bread. It was fluffy and surprisingly good!

Hands down the best gf sandwich I have ever had! The staff is so friendly and helpful. They have a gf white sub that tastes just like regular sub bread, they wrap your sandwich in foil when they grill it.. Also have a few different gf desert options. They don't up charge you for the gf bread which is awesome. I'm sad I live so far away. I would definitely recommend this place!!!! So much food and not expensive at all! You will leave satisfied and with a smile!

By far the most generous portions I have ever received in a gluten free deli AND it knocked my socks off. Outside of the fact they gave me a CD with my order number on it and missed the chance to say "check out my mix tape" it was a great experience and would go every flippin day if I could.

Absolutely fantastic. There is a huge selection and they will wrap your sandwich (mine was triple wrapped) in foil to grill it. They knew right away when I said Celiac to take extra precaution. Will definitely be returning when in the area again!

Lots of sandwich options- all available on GF bread. When I asked about the GF bread when ordering, the employee also let me know that they could grill my sandwich on aluminum foil to avoid cross contamination on the grill. After I completed my order, I heard him tell the cooks to do so. Really great service and one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while!

Three in our family of four are celiac. We found friendly and helpful staff who were patient with us first-time customers with questions about their GF breads and the enormous and comical menu.

The sandwiches and salad all had good quality ingredients, and none of us had any cross-contamination symptoms afterward.

The building decor is basically utilitarian industrial, but contains a variety of interesting artwork, including portraits of all the menu's characters and actors.

Two Beards Deli is awesome!! The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They prepared everything in a separate area and made sure not to grill the sandwich since it is a shared grill. The sandwich was incredible! I got mine on the gf sub bread and it pretty decent! Not too dry and it had a great flavor. I'm definitely going back!

I was so excited to have the option of many sandwiches on gluten free bread, however when the sandwich was delivered to my table the bread was already cracking apart. As I picked it up it disintegrated into bread crumbs. It was very challenging to try to eat. With the advances in gluten free bread in recent years this dry crumbly bread was disappointing and not necessary.

Extensive menu of sandwiches. Two different gf bread options - white and sourdough. Most sandwiches can be made dairy free as well. Staff seemed knowledgeable about how to prepare food safely and which ingredients to stay away from if you were asking for dairy free accommodations.

What a great find! First sandwich I've been able to have in a restaurant since going GF earlier this year. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and also checked ingredients for my allergy issues. Was able to build a yummy sandwich with "safe" ingredients.
