Amazing. Almost everything is gluten free except for the sandwiches. The injera bread is gf and absolutely so good. New favorite!!

I had never had Ethiopian food so I thought I would give it a try. I asked about gluten free and the first question was, are you celiac? They are really cued up and you can eat just about everything except the sandwiches and some of the desserts. We had the lamb for two which came with red lentils and green bean cabbage. It comes with Teff bread rolled up and you eat with this. It was pretty good.

Fantastic! So many GF options that are also dairy free (extra points for me). The staff are very knowledgable and accommodating. Plus, I enjoyed an incredibly smooth chocolate dessert. I'm already looking forward to coming back.

Wonderful dining experience, as a gluten intolerant traveler it can be hard finding places to eat but I highly highly recommend this location, even if you aren't a gluten-free eater!! Maya is a gracious hostess and wonderfully accommodating, a hidden diamond in Old Colorado City! 💜

Delicious gluten-free food! The chef reported they use olive oil, so may be pretty free from GM canola/soy oils. The injera is made with 100% teff flour, and grass-fed meats are on the menu. Eating at Uchenna was a great experience.

Has a lot of gf options. Menu marked with a star for gf items. I believe the injera is gf. Many Ethiopian restaurants add wheat to their injera which makes it hard to go to, this place is well trained on gf cooking. The woman who owns it is very very sweet too.
