Urban Egg a daytime eatery

They have gluten free items marked on their menu. We came here while out of town specifically for the gluten free pancakes advertised. However, when I asked how they were cooked, they said all gluten free pancakes are cooked on the same surface as regular pancakes and they would not make it separately on a pan. Super disappointed!!!

Okay so this places food is amazing!! I loved their gluten free pancakes and so did my brother they also had really good breakfast tacos according to my mom and the non gluten free things where good too! (Again according to family members) they do a nice job with keeping things safe and they mark things well the only issue I had is it was kinda difficult to order and It was difficult to order but it might just be because I’m quiet but it was not easy but I highly recommend here and it was worth the drive

My celiac daughter has eaten here multiple times without any issue. We love it! GF pancakes are delicious!

I visited to try the gf pancakes, but then saw they had huevos rancheros! It was amazing. The gf English muffin was also delicious. I’m a celiac and I didn’t get sick.

Informed server of celiac and was informed cross contamination possible. GF pancakes are cooked on the same griddle and at the same time as regular pancakes. Not only that, they use the same spatchula to flip the pancakes. Should of asked about that prior to getting sick. Not celiac friendly.

The best gluten free pancakes ever! You could easily pass them off as containing gluten. The waiter makes the ticket as an allergy, the pancakes came out marked with a toothpick and were cooked separate from everything else. The green apple, chicken, fennel sausage was wonderful and the hash browns were tasty as well. Our server, Zachary, was amazing, very patient and knew a lot about food allergies. He went back to the kitchen to ask about ingredients in items multiple times. The fact that they source so many of their items locally added to the quality and freshness of the food.

The best gluten free pancakes! Love the blueberry streusel!! Staff are awesome as well. I eat here every time I am in Denver ❤

OMG. The GF Colorado blueberry streusel pancakes were easily the best pancakes I've ever had in my entire life, gluten free or otherwise.

The food was good, but there was also some cross-contamination. We told the waiter about being Celiac and he said they had a separate prep area and were knowledgable, but cross-contamination occurred for sure! Pancakes are NOT safe here.

My daughter and I both have Celiac. They had several gluten free options and designated area for prep and cooking. The food was average, a little disappointed. But we didn't get sick, so that's awesome! Free parking in garage next door. Pet friendly outside patio. Had a 30 minute wait at 10:00 am.

It's a grrat alternative to Snooze. Their burritos are badass and they're very accommodating for celiac. Only down side is that the burritos aren't gluten free.

Had to have them double check to make sure the pancakes were gluten free. Tasted too good to be true, but they are gluten free.

The best GF eggs Benedict in Denver! Well worth the drive from broomfield and they are going to have more locations in the future. Very safe, and the staff take care of you!

It was ok. Inflexible... Wouldn't even make a kids burger and didn't have one on menu. Child with dairy allergy could order nothing off menu. Eye-rolling, unkind waitress and very marginal food. You can do better in highlands ranch!

Wasn't worth the drive. I drove from the north side of Denver to enjoy this GF breakfast that has been raved about. Bad news. The hash browns and bacon was cold and the huge (I liked this) pancakes were Luke warm at best. Took awhile for the butter to melt. If I have the chance again, I'm going to OPH instead. It's not much further away.

Simply amazing! Best breakfast experience since our son's celiac diagnosis. Samantha, our server, was amazing! She was very well informed about celiac disease and treated us wonderfully. Lots of great tasting gluten free options. Coming back again on our next visit to beautiful Colorado!

I can't say enough how good their food was. I had the cinnamon swirl, blueberry streusel and Hawaiian pancakes that were amazing. I had 3 eggs your style and 3 egg omelet that were also really good.

LOVE this place!! I am extremely gluten sensitive and I've never had any problems. Their staffs is super knowledgeable and well trained. It's amazing to feel so safe with what I order. Their breakfast tacos are great and their Green with Envy juice is yummy.

I very much enjoyed the gluten free pancake options. I did not ask about cross contamination or anything so I’m sorry I don’t have that information. They have remodeled since I was last there and it was a Sunday brunch time when I went and it was Very loud. The rest of my group enjoyed their food. But the noise level would definitely be too much for some people.

Ordered 3 eggs with bacon, hash browns, and a side buttermilk pancake. Pancake came out with Gf label and server Tori confirmed the hash browns and bacon would be celiac safe before I ordered. Ordering with knowledgeable staff makes it so much easier to trust that cross contact is minimized. Everything was delicious. Menu had GFA label for a lot of items.

This place is very aware about celiac and they asked if I had any allergies which is really nice. I got breakfast tacos and it was so good. I will want to try the pancakes next time! I didn’t get glutened.

Pretty good food and gf clearly labeled. We got the gourmet pancake flight with a strawberry cheesecake (only ok), blueberry something (a little better than the cheesecake), and Hawaiian which was the best by far. The gf pancake base was one of the better ones I’ve had so I bet the classic buttermilk would be great! We also tried the corned beef hash with a gf English muffin on the side. The corned beef was awesome - the jalapeno bacon jam on top was incredible!!- , hash browns delicious, but the English muffin was… almost inedible. I hate to be that harsh but I’m pretty forgiving of gf breads and this one was just not good. I’d definitely go back to try other menu items!
