They have a separate GF menu with what seems like hundreds of options!!! Chef and employees knowledgeable and guaranteed separate kitchen for cooking GF. Me and my celiac brother feel fine after. Having chicken parm was a dream come true!

I have been dining at this restaurant for years. I am a dairy intolerant celiac and have never gotten sick. The gluten free menu is filled with many choices. The staff is knowledgeable. Cross contamination is never a problem. Highly recommend.

I work close by and have been wanting to order. I was able to do an online order for pickup. The gf specialty pizza was pretty expensive for the size but it was absolutely delicious. Picking up was easy and they were good about my sons milk and egg allergies when I ordered a vegan pie as well.

Don't be suckered by the ratings. They are obviously padded, faked. The locals might like this place .... BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING ELSE AROUND. We ordered before the dinner rush and 70 minutes later our over-cooked and very bland food arrived. The place is indeed dirty as another reviewer mentioned. During our 70 minutes of waiting we were not offered refills on our drinks. It is way overpriced for the quality of food, the timliness of service, and the abismal atmosphere.

We have been coming to this restaurant for years because of their large gluten-free menu in fact I drive three hours from Pa to visit this restaurant. Tonight we tried to phone in a delivery order to be delivered locally to my moms house only 2 miles away from their location and the young woman working the phone was not only rude, hung up on us multiple times, continued to huff and puff throughout our entire order, and then when I asked her to repeat the order back to me for accuracy she was not able to and told me she could not read her scribble and then complained about how busy they were that she was juggling too many orders. I have never experienced such horrible customer service before and will no longer patronize this restaurant if that’s who is representing this establishment on the phone.

I’ve been ordering here since before I found out I had Celiac and never really noticed their gluten free options. They have a HUGE gluten free menu from apps to main dishes and of course pizza. Absolutely amazing!!!! Delivery and pickup times are often a bit long but very worth it!

This restaurant was awesome! Very knowledgeable staff and they know about cross contamination and go to all the measures to prevent it. They have separate areas to prepare the gluten free foods. The gluten free menu is HUGE! The biggest I’ve seen! Which is rare in an Italian place. The food was delicious. My 10 year old son with Celiac Disease was in heaven. He had the mozzarella sticks and spaghetti and said it was the best gluten free pasta he has ever had! Also has plenty of GF dessert options. We will definitely be going back!

Very extensive gluten free menu. They also seem to take pride in the fact that they can prepare Celiac safe food. Our server was also well versed, knew about cross contamination, etc. We had gf mozzarella sticks to start (which had corn meal breading that I happen to really like) and I had a white pizza with sausage and my fiancé the chicken parm sandwich. The gf pizza crust had both a nice taste and consistency and it looked like there were herbs baked into the crust. I did think the sausage was a bit fatty/the casings on the slices were a bit tough, but the cheese and garlic underneath were good. And I appreciate how well they can keep the pizzas away from CC. My fiancé did say that the chicken was a bit tough in texture, though the sandwich portion size was generous. I’m not in this area often, but it’s nice to know that this place is a safe option if I am.

Via Roma has been my absolute favorite restaurant since the day I discovered them so many years ago. It's the only place I know that has an actual gf menu. A real one. Not just one sheet of cardstock or a giant binder full of confusing and outdated charts. They have an entire menu just for you. They also serve warm gf dinner rolls, an amazing selection of appetizers like fried calamari and giant mozzarella sticks. All gluten free. And the desserts! Via Roma has it all, including friendly staff. I hope they open a second location a half hour south. ;-)

One of the most careful and thoughtful Celiac friendly restaurants I've ever been to. Amazing place. They will make anything for you by request. All the GF food is prepared in an isolated area of the kitchen. Here's the extra mile: ALL of the flour that is used for dusting in this restaurant is GF. Even for the regular pizza, just to reduce the chance of airborne contamination. THAT is going the extra mile. I love this place.

one of the few safe places I can get takeout for my son. The owner even showed me that they use rice flour to sprinkle on the counter for the regular pizza, since the flour goes everywhere. A pleasant place with no eye rolls

I have been here any times. The food is good BUT he place is messy and actually t is a bit dirty! I walked in for pickup and was shocked to see tables not bused, to the right was a bus tray half filled with dirty dishes. When a customer walks in we shouldn't see that kind filth. When waiting for food I watched the guy making Pizza grab handle on the pizza oven and then sink his hands into a bucket of shredded mozzarella to top a pizza...and he had no gloves on. It's needs clean up. However the biggest complaint is how SLOW the service is!!! I ordered two cold sandwiches at 7:45pm showed up at 8:10 to pick up and waited until 8:30 for them to be done. Brutal service.

Had a wonderful family dinner here tonight - first time there - only twenty minutes away & the food was amazing & portions HUGE! Lots of yummy, safe leftovers for this celiac! So excited to find a place close by - they have everything from pizza & your typical Italian dinners to subs & cheesesteaks GF! I even got a GF cannoli for dessert - will be back again & again! Wait stuff was very friendly & knowledgable & the kitchen is TRAINED in GF - they even have a certificate for the training completion inside each (extensive) GF menu! Couldn't love this place more - worth any amount of wait IMO!

The wait is awful. I really tried to be patient, but an hour and a half later with no dinner my patience was gone! A great place to order out from (pick it up when it's ready) that would literally give you time to clean your house, go to the gym, and bake a nice dessert.

I was very dissapointed in the quality of the food. I got the shrimp and tilapia scampi and the tilapia tasted old, fishy and moldy. They also put marinara sauce on the scampi which was weird. the mozarella sticks were not good either. I'm pretty sure they were baked and the quality of the breading wasn't good. I would not come back here

Great food, good service! Everyone was polite the manager even talked with us! They were very careful checking what allergies I had! I'm from Alaska, barely any options for me up there in so happy up und this place on my visit here! *note our last server was more knowledgeable than when we went back a second time. I'm also allergic to eggs and dairy and I stated I needed egg free and she kept saying yes dairy free we consider that dairy free, and I ended up with bread with egg in it. If you have egg issues make sure you get small sliders not a sub type if you get the Philly or garlic bread*

My favorite place in the country because they truly have gf homemade Jersey Italian food! I go several times every time I'm in NJ. Even my boyfriend and my father love this place and they're not gf. I gave them 4 stars only because it really can take a long time to be greeted and served, especially around holidays, but I'm patient because I know how good the food is and it's worth waiting for! Love the tilapia frances and the eggplant parm!
