Villa Verde

I have Celiac and eat here all the time! This is a local restaurant that serves Dominican food, the staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable, they can always tell you what is gluten free and what isn't. I pretty much stay away from the sandwiches and anything fried. The beans do have gluten, so avoid those! Everything I have had is delicious and doesn't make me sick. Highly recommend!

This was absolutely incredible. I got the Trifongo with Pernil. The presentation was unique and the texture and taste were five star. My husband also got permil and rice. Their kale salad had a dressing that even my husband gobbled it up. He usually doesn’t care about beans but loved theirs. The staff were very friendly and the owner came by twice to see how we were doing. He even gave my husband a piece of tres leche in the house. I couldn’t eat it but he said it was the best he could remember. It is loud inside but it was full as all good restaurants should be!

I recently ate here for the first time and was very impressed with the gluten free options! The servers seemed to be well informed about gluten allergies.
