We live nearby, and the Tucker Village Burger is our go-to family restaurant. My daughter with celiac has eaten here probably dozens of times and never had a problem. They have a dedicated fryer for french fries, but the onion rings are not GF. Selection is limited, but they offer a solid GF burger and fries. You can also get milkshakes and floats; the ice cream machine is not used for anything that contains gluten.

there seems to be some mixed statements regarding the fries and the fryer but I asked the manager today and he confirmed they do indeed have a dedicated completely gluten free fryer and the fries are gluten free. I have celiac and eat here once a month and never have issues. best burger in Atlanta hands down and very good price.

The burger was amazing. Standard GF bun. I asked and they said “we do not have a dedicated fryer but we keep it separate”. I risked it. Got “glutened”. Probably fine if it’s a tolerance thing but I’m celiac and cross contamination is usually the culprit. In this case the fry oil most likely. They were delish though. Now that I know, I’d have to skip the fries but I’d try again.

I’ve eaten here three times, i did not have a reaction (I’m pretty sure, because my darn stomach is sometimes in between no matter what). You have to tell them it’s an allergy, then they will change gloves and take precautions. The hardest part for me getting burgers (at any restaurant) is verifying visually that they didn’t screw up and give me the wrong bun. I’m a little concerned b/c someone who said they cook the burgers on the same surface as gluten food. But I had three burgers in a row without a problem.. Strangely the young people working there seem intelligent and professional.

I am a former employee of this restaurant and I can confirm that they definitely have a gluten free fryer. They also do a good job of avoiding cross contamination as well as they can.

Great place for a safe burger and fries. They have a dedicated fryer and the staff understands the seriousness of cross-contact. We eat here almost weekly and I've never had an issue.

I am calling this unsafe for a Celiac due to probable cross-contamination with the meats. We just went there & after inquiring, were informed the chicken & burgers are grilled on the same surface as foods containing gluten.

This burger place has lettuce wraps and gluten free buns. If you have Celiac they will change gloves, wash down surfaces, keep your bun in its wrapper. French fries use rice flour, not wheat, and they have a dedicated fryer. The manager talked to us about Celiac and the extra care they will take for you to avoid cross contamination.
