Review of Waffles, INCaffeinated

The staff is extremely lacking in knowledge when it comes to what gluten is. When asking if certain items were gluten free the waitress responded "I don't think it has milk so you should be fine." After confirming what I ordered was supposedly gluten free, there was a mix up with the food. When asking two of the waitresses if the food was okay to eat they responded yeah it should be okay for gluten, it doesn't have any milk in it or anything. I responded and said that gluten is not milk when the one waitress responded "I don't know what gluten is I'm just the messenger." This made me very nervous as a celiac to eat there. Good place to eat if you're not celiac, but those who are celiac I would be extremely cautious eating here.
