Wally's has a dedicated gluten free kitchen and menu. Our server, Santino, was very knowledgeable about gluten and what things on the regular menu could be modified. Food was delicious. We had whiskey burgers and a grilled chicken sandwich. We have found gluten free ones to be yucky. I don't know what brand songs purchases but these were delicious.

They are extremely knowledgeable about Celiac and cross- contamination at this establishment. There is a note on the menu that they have a designated seperate GF fryer (their french fries are the bomb!). So far I've gotten a reuben, donuts and a burger. It's also BYOB, so bring your favorite drink, kick back on the patio and enjoy the celiac-safe food!

Note: Sometimes they're out of specific GF bread varieties, but they always have other options to choose from. All the waitress/waiter when you order.

Definitely allergy friendly! I have multiple allergies (gluten, dairy, corn, soy, peanut) so eating out is not easy. The staff was very helpful and took the time to answer and confirm my questions. I was able to get plain grilled chicken and steamed broccoli. Nothing fancy but safe for me to eat and I got to enjoy dinner at a restaurant ...I'll take it! For just gf allergies, they have a full gf menu! Separate dedicated gf fryer (though heads up if you have a soy allergy- the canola oil they use has soy in it).

Separate GF menu and every menu is in a different color jacket (green for vegan, red for GF). Servers are very well trained in allergens. Spoke with manager and learned that ALL flour used in establishment is GF. ALL OF IT. ❤ separate kitchen space for allergy food. The portions, the variety and the quality were so good. It was the perfect dinner after a day on beach and fishing. Make the trip—-it’s worth it!

Fabulous restaurant! Went here for breakfast. The reviews were good for Celiac people like me! Everyone was so friendly that worked here. Our waitress, Carly was awesome! She explained that they have a separate kitchen for gf and they take contamination of gluten very seriously! Other restaurants need to be educated from this place. They certainly know how to handle Celiac needs well. I ordered the Beach sandwich on a gf bun. It was perfect! We will definitely come back!🎉👍

If you’re gluten free, vegan, or have allergies this restaurant is a must go. So many different options for celiacs and they are all so good. We went for dinner and for breakfast. Got the chicken francaise with GF linguini and it was excellent. Also split a GF quesadilla and the tortilla was very good. For breakfast I got home fries, tofu scramble, and the GF dirty monkey waffles which were amazing. The best breakfast I’ve ever had honestly. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable about allergies I wish every restaurant could be as inclusive and delicious as Wally’s!

They have a separate GF menu with tons of options. Each listed item says how the GF version differs from the normal version. They have a dedicated fryer for fries. My plate had an allergen marker on it so it was clear that it was GF.

I had the BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich with fries. My fries were shoestring instead of normal sized and came out perfect. The food was 10/10, absolutely delicious. My family all got non-GF food and everyone loved it. We're definitely going back.

Crouton in my salad! I ordered a sandwich and side salad to go - the GF menu specifies that the salad will come without croutons but when I got home, there was a crouton tucked into the side of the container! I am glad I saw it before I took a bite, and obviously I didn’t eat it, but this was a huge mistake. The wait staff confirmed that they have a separate dedicated GF area of the kitchen and double checked my order before putting it in, so I know it wasn’t her mistake. I think this was just a mess up in the kitchen as it was just 1 crouton. Otherwise my sandwich on GF roll was very good and I had no reaction bc I didn’t eat the salad. I would say to just be careful if you’re eating there and triple check before digging in.

My favorite gluten free restaurant!! Been here multiple times and never had a bad stomach reaction. This place has the best tasting gluten free food I’ve ever had out somewhere. The staff is always so nice! They have a very large variety of options, a full separate gluten free kitchen and they mark gluten free dishes with toothpicks. They have cute outdoor and indoor seating, and offer gf breakfast, lunch, dinner and appetizers.

Absolutely delicious. I got the Ahi Tuba gluten and dairy free, with a dairy free Caesar salad as the side. The staff were attentive to my dietary needs and substituted a delicious wild rice in place of the mashed potatoes with my dish (which couldn’t be made dairy free).

I cannot say enough about how great Wally’s is for gluten-free diners. An extensive gluten free menu and everything is delicious. The gluten free bread is some of the best I’ve had. I’ve had the BLT sandwich for lunch and for breakfast I’ve had the apple crepe and the pancakes. All three were terrific. Never disappointed no matter how often I’ve been there. They have a dedicated kitchen space for all their gluten free items and a dedicated fryer. Don’t miss this place if you are on LBI!

I had a great experience at Wally’s. I have a severe, anaphylactic allergy to gluten; if my food is contaminated with gluten, I will experience anaphylaxis within 20-30 minutes, need to use an Epi pen and have to go to the emergency room. Needless to say, I very rarely eat out. However, Wally’s was somewhere I trusted due to the care they take in managing allergies and dietary restrictions. My family and I went their 2 nights in a row and I had no issues and the food was great.

My son was glutened here ;( he had a Belgian waffle that is made in the same maker as regular Belgian waffles :( that was disappointing. I am planning on speaking with the owner so they can educate their staff that their waffles are not safe for celiac or get a second waffle maker specifically for GF. Will post an update. Everything else is prepared safely except anything in the frier (so no fries).

Went here today for the first time and i was blown away. The waitress was gluten free so I was super confident that my meal was going to be made gf. I got a buffalo chicken wrap with a salad with ranch dressing. The portion was huge and the food was awesome. They have a good amount of options. Mahi tuna burger, salmon burger, wraps etc. Expect to spend $15 but you will walk away happy.
