I really like Wasabi. They have been more than accommodating and the menu is clear. I am Celiac and have never had an issue here. Fresh sushi, prepared fast, always safe.

can get gluten free options but this is mostly accomplished by making it without the sauce. what is sushi without the sauce? most Rolls they just leave something out.

Love this restaurant! Although they don't have a gluten free menu, they can make almost anything gluten free. Our server was very knowledgeable about the gluten free diet and what was required. He even double checked a couple of times with the chefs when we asked questions. We had the shrimp and avacado sushi, edamame, and the Hong Kong steak. The steak is normally coated and fried, but they just stir fried it for us and it was delicious. We would definitely go back.

The sushi chefs are trained to make their rolls gluten-free & they're delicious! The entire staff is aware which items are GF or have the option of being gf.

I had the tom yum soup and teriyaki dinner. All was clearly marked gluten free and they had gluten free soy sauce on hand. Staff was very friendly and asked the kitchen at request if anything contained gluten

Always a nice, safe option for dining out in Ames with celiac. My go to is the red curry with chicken - so good and so flavorful.

My FAVORITE. I love Wasabi so much. They’re very helpful with GF items & pretty thorough. The best sushi & also other dish options that are GF if sushi isn’t your thing :)
