They offer a lettuce wrap but it's only a piece on top and bottom. The burger patty, bacon, ketchup that I had was good and our "normal" eater devoured his burger, fries, and shake, but nothing workable here for our GF, egg-free, peanut-free teen.

Was told by a Celiac friend that they had a GF bun. They don't and the only thing They had that I felt safe with was a salad. I ordered it without croutons and it came with croutons, even though the printed order read no croutons. They need to teach their staff about Celiacs and what happens when we get glutened. My wife enjoyed her burger and fries.

Went tonight, no GF buns anymore, they got rid of their fryer so all frying is in a common fryer. They did offer a lettuce wrap for the burger but was just a piece of lettuce lining the bottom of the burger and the rest was an open face sandwich.

They have a dedicated fryer in the back for fries and tots! They no longer put buns on the grill and offer lettuce or GF buns now. Owners son has gluten allergy and they are up to date and required precautions

Called and they don't have a dedicated fryer. They do chicken fingers in one side and fries and onion rings in the other.
No
Server told me had nothing that could be prepared without contamination, and not just in a CYA way. Said there are buns on the grill and can’t provide a clean area. Very disappointing. We left without ordering.

They finished up all of the other non gluten free orders before even starting my order and made sure to wipe down the grill.
I really liked the gluten free buns they had, it was probably one of my favorite gluten free buns that has been offered at a restaurant. The burger was definitely bigger than I expected which was a plus.
If you do end up going here you might have a longer wait time then everyone else because my order was one of the last ones they did due to their concerns about cross contamination.

Went for lunch and got The Classic with a GF bun and fries. They allow you to add/remove toppings or build your own. I was unable to eat breakfast and it was later than usual for lunch so I inhaled it. The patties didn't stay together because they are thin (comes with two). I felt they were a little dry and since I'm trying to be completely DF, I didn't get cheese. Maybe that would have helped? Fries were good but in my haste, I didn't ask if the fryer was dedicated. My stomach hurt a little later on but honestly that could have been from the way my day went with eating. I will try again at a later date.
They used to have GF buns but they don’t carry that anymore
The staff here was knowledgeable about gluten free needs and accommodated me. They were out of gluten free buns but I was able to get my chicken on a bed of lettuce instead. They offered me fries, chips or tots all cooked in a dedicated fryer.
Yes
We were excited to go here but upon arrival they had no GF buns left and informed us that they occasionally fry a slider bun in the same fryer as the “dedicated” fry fryer. Not safe for fries and not worth staying for a burger with no bun and no fries. One employee did not understand our request and the second employee was knowledgeable but told us it was unsafe.

This place is awesome! Great burger GF bun, dedicated fryer. Awesome service. The whole experience was great. Highly recommended!!
He claims it was the best burger he has had in several years. It had a dedicated fryer for fries but he didn’t eat too many after being stuffed from a giant hamburger. For the record. We had also just traveled 13 hours in a car and we were all starving. Still we will go here again.
Great chicken sandwich on GF bun, with separate fryer for fries. Menu doesn't tell the story, ask they'll answer.

This was my first visit to a Wayback and it was excellent. Kevin, who took my order, was fantastic. He clearly understood Celiac and informed me of what was gluten free and assured me that they would clean off the grill before cooking my burger. He indicated that the chips and fries were cooked alone in the fryer and were safe. They offered Udi’s GF bun if I wanted one. The food was very good and I had no issues.
Yes
Udi’s buns and a dedicated fryer made this a safe place for us. When asked about the dedicated fryer, they stated they fry no gluten in it and filter that one first when cleaning to avoid cross-contamination. They couldn’t say that the milkshakes were gf and let us know up front that the veggie burgers are definitely not gf. Great food and affordable! Would highly recommend to a sensitive celiac.
Yes
Beware the fryer. They say that they have a separate fryer but they fry a veggie burger which contains wheat along with the fries and chips. However they do clean the grill and change their gloves for your burger and have gluten free udi buns. The burger was very good and most of the toppings are gluten free as well.

They had udi’s gluten free buns and dedicated fryer for fries. Staff seems careful to avoid cross contamination. They cleaned the grill and changed gloves. Delicious burgers!
Visited Wayback Burgers in Woodland Park CO because I was told the burgers are amazing and they have gluten free options. I was impressed with the quality of GF bun they used and that they have fryers dedicated to GF items (fries and tots) We have gone back several times and no XC issues for my daughter or myself so I’m really impressed!

I brought my own gf bun in my purse. Staff knowledgeable and kind. Only fries and tater tots in the fryer, anything battered or meaty is done in a separate fryer. Delicious big ol fashioned greasy cheeseburger. Veggies nice and fresh.

Franchise but run like a small business. Has tasty GF buns and separate fryer for fries and tots. Friendly manager nicely warned XC could be possible, but was there early enough the separate fryers were still separate and clean.
