Ask for a “gluten free menu.” So nice they carry them. You’ll have to be your own manager because if you order from the gluten free menu, neither the kitchen or staff will understand you mean you want the meal without the biscuit (some of the options are just “order this meal but not biscuit). I ordered from the GF menu without specifying I didn’t want the gluten-filled biscuit and got one on my plate. Brain fart on my part. I’m used to staff in my city knowing what GF means. Not a huge deal. I just put it on a napkin.

Good for gluten-free but not celiacs, I’m guessing.

I’ll see if I can post a pic of the menu.

West Egg has great GF options. I usually get the Westside Pileup which has eggs, potatoes, bacon, cheese, peppers, and onions. Absolutely delicious, but you can also go more basic and just get eggs and a side for breakfast.

Great experience. They provide a little GF options menu in addition to the regular one. FRIED GREEN TOMATOES!!! Divine! Breakfast potatoes were wonderful, pimento cheese grits too. Black bean cakes were alright. If I get them again I'll request they be "well done" so they're crispy. Server was understanding and made note of both of us having celiac. We'll definitely be going back!

I had a great GF experience here. They offer breakfast all day but also have lunch and dinner items. Though they offer a GF menu, make sure to request to speak with a manager. I spoke with Sarah before visiting the cafe, and she reassured me that though they do not have separate untensils and cookware or cooking space for GF diners, they do follow a protocol of washing the cookware and untensils prior to preparing a GF order. Tell your waiter to mark Gluten Free at the top of your ticket, also. The 3 egg omelette with Swiss cheese and a side of potatos and onions hit the spot. My travel companion also ordered off the GF menu, enjoying every bite of the Pile Up, which contained 2 eggs, bacon, potatos, onion, and bell peppers. Coffee was excellent, as was the assortment of herbal teas. Being morning and having a busy day ahead of us, we passed on the selection of GF dessert options, which included a flourless chocolate cake and GF macaroons. I look forward to tasting them on my return visit! Also, it is worth noting that the cafe is in walking distants to Yeah Burger, Osteria de Figo, and Bachanalia, all of which offer safe GF opportunities worth exploring.

Great atmosphere with a gluten free menu. Coffee shop and breakfast place. Had eggs, sausage and fruit. Celiac - no problems.
