Celiac kids approved. We ordered kids burger and pasta, sides were substituted with fruit. They don’t have separate friers. The buns were soft and pasta was delicious.

Safety is not 100% since the is always a possibility of cross-contamination, but the servers are aware of the difference between gf and allergy. We have never gotten glutenized at a White Spot.
The service at the Kamloops one is really good.
Warning: the smash potatoes are done in the same deep fryer so are not celiac safe. That means there is only one celiac-friendly option on the breakfast menu. Huge thanks to our server for pointing that out!

The server had knowledge about the processes and explained the ‘purple bin’ is the gf tools for the kitchen and they don’t toast the buns. There were options for us other than fruit to sub for the potatoes. The server told us they have Celiac as well so understands! We paid more for avocado than I would have liked as a sub for potatoes. But overall, we’d go back when in a pinch.

The Sahali white spot does have a designated gluten free fryer now. Was there about a month ago.
There is not a dedicated gluten free frier here and they only do deep fried hash browns for their breakfast menu. No option to pan fry
Well when you go for breakfast the only substitute you get for hash browns might be some tomatoes or fruit with your eggs and bacon. So you don’t walk away full if you have a decent appetite or are particularly hungry when you go yet you still pay the full price.
Everyone else’s food and quantity looked great.

I have only been here once and had the cheesesteak hash with shredded hash browns instead of the smashed potatoes. It was delicious and I didn’t get sick. Will go again.
Update: Sahali location does not have a dedicated fryer - only the north shore location does!
Yes
The server was knowledgeable about celiac disease. We ate here on May 23, 2019, and they did NOT have a separate fryer as someone else had noted on the app.
Always love eating here as their fries are in a dedicated fryer so no cross-contamination. They now have gluten-free buns for burgers but still offer wrapping the burgers and lettuce. They also offer gluten-free pasta.
They don’t claim to be a gluten free place and warn about cross contamination but do offer gluten free options.
I ordered one of the gluten free pasta dishes, was concerned when they brought a different option. They did confirm that the substitute was gluten free. It tasted amazing! I am definitely regretting eating it now.

White Spot clearly marks every order that has allergies, but unfortunately are not always successful with keeping them clean of cross contact. I get glutened here on average 1/4 times per meal. White Spot also changed the gravy to contain flour, which is a big let down as it's hard to find safe poutine away from Vancouver. I like the restaurant for being a classic and something my grandma loves to visit, but I'm always taking a gamble eating here.

One of the servers has gluten and lactose intolerance so she knows exactly how to adjust menu items to make them safe. It seems that the kitchen is aware of gluten and possible cross contamination because of her.

Clearly marked gluten free options on menu. GF burgers and GF poutine (not sure if it is a dedicated fryer).
