My partner was served a burger with a regular wheat flour bun even after specifying that bun needed to be gluten free. He was halfway through the burger before he started wondering if the bread tasted too good. After asking, it was confirmed that the bread was indeed not gluten free. The manager came by and was very apologetic, asking if he should call for medical services. Then he comped our whole meal, except for our drinks. Overall, we were appreciated the follow up but it was still unfortunate. Please double check your bun after your burger comes out. They had even given us a gluten free menu checklist to see which items on the menu had gluten and which could be substituted. No gluten free beers at the time, Omission was sold out. They did have gf schnitzel.

Chef’s wife has Celiac. He made a special order for me to ensure my food was safe. It was amazing!

I totally enjoyed my meal here! They have wine, Omission, and a cider option to drink. I ordered a burger on lettuce and my server let me know they have a gluten free bun available. No dedicated fryer but the German potato salad is safe! The burger quality is amazing and they give you two patties so it was a substantial meal. Sat on the outside patio with my dogs. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful navigating my order. The salad options looked great as well as sausage or potato pancakes.

No gluten free menu. No dedicated kitchen space. Informed everything was made on a shared space, and nothing could be prepared gluten free.
Ordered a water.

Wild Bear was AMAZING and super accommodating to all allergies. When I got there, I notified the waitress about my gluten allergy. She had me fill out a form checking all of my allergies so a chef could come out and talk to me. Chef Kenny came out and said he could prepare anything GF except the pretzel and the Spatzle. They even had (one of the best imo) GF buns for sandwiches. The food tasted fantastic (I had a schnitzel sandwich with potato pancakes) and the chef and waitress checked up to make sure we were happy with our meals. Chef Kenny even prepared me a complimentary GF dessert. It's hard to find places with delicious GF options and amazing people. This place has it all. 25/10 would recommend!!
