We've been coming here for 2+ years and never had a problem. The bison burgers are so good and the chicken tenders are a kid favorite! We all love the onion rings and often indulge in a couple of root beer floats!
Had a wonderful meal with my husband for a date night. Told them I was GF, and they were great. A very tasty GF bun for my awesome burger and the French fries were safe to eat too. Even their chicken fingers were GF (I will make sure to try them next time!) Also had an angry orchard cider to top it off. I loved going to Wild Willy's when I visited York, Maine as a teen so it's nice to have one closer to home too.
Awesome. So good to have a burger and onion rings. Not all use dedicated fryers but the Worcester one does. Worth paying he extra money to eat normal.
YUM!!! Awesome burgers & fries!!
fantastic burgers. the bun was the best gf bun I ever had. all the fries items that are normally breaded are gf. they are really careful about crosscontamination.
best gf onion rings ive ever had! And the gluten free bun is amazing!!!
the GF fries and onion rings are awesome!
Love the extra effort they make to ensure there is no cross contamination or potential mix ups. Burgers are delicious. Coffee shake is amazing.
Excellent service, knowledgeable about celiac and superb food.
OUTSTANDING!! Great selection of gf items. All their batter used is gf. Buns were great as well as fries and onion rings. Haven't had a fast food onion ring in over 10 years. What a treat this was to experience great gf comfort food. I rarely write reviews but I had to get the word out so others can try this place. Enjoy
Dedicated kitchen area for GF cooking... Great burger!
The best! Wish i could buy a bag of their burger buns. So good!
pretty much everything is GF. love them!
This place is excellent! The onion rings are delicious and the only ones I've been able to have for years! They are very knowledgeable about gluten free and cross contamination. I've never been "glutenated" from Wild Willy's.
The best gluten free burger restaurant I've ever been to. Staff are so helpful, friendly, and knowledgable about GF and Celiac. Burgers are always made just the way you asked. Gluten free bun is the best I've ever had. French fries and onion rings are gluten free. They literally have everything you could ask for. Cannot recommend Wild Willy's enough. A+
Wow, best gluten free onion rings I've ever had!!! I am totally putting this place on my must return to locations and yum!!!
The best burgers in town! Thank you for giving celiacs so many safe choices when we go out to eat. Love it here!
My regular burger spot. th
This place is awesome! Literally almost everything is gluten free! Best GF chicken fingers I've had.
LOVE this place! This restaurant is the best for all consumers. The food is delicious for everyone whether you need GF or not. My 8 y.o. son only eats GF, but the rest of us don't and this place is a favorite for ALL of us. Great food and great staff!
This would be top of the list for any burger joint, regardless of GF. The GF options here are complete (onion rings and a delicious blue cheese burger), extensive, an they really respect the power of a goood burger between your teeth.
The best GF restaurant for kids! Burgers (on a bun!), chicken fingers, onion rings, fries, sweet pot fries! All GF! And OMG, so good...
Great chicken tenders and onion rings!
One of the best for gf can do all fried foods gluten free! Always excellent burgers on gf rolls would highly recommend
What a wonderful surprise! Best gluten-free burger served with gf onion rings!!! Thank you.
Many GF options. Best fries and onion rings!
Only place ive ever been able to get gluten free chicken tenders and theyre very delicious....plus theyre burgers are very good too...great place for a gluten free lunch
I love this restaurant! It's so tasty. They have a huge selection of gluten-free items - burgers, buns, beer, fries, onion rings, fried fish, chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, and more! They have dedicated GF fryers. There's a big sign that clearly states what foods can be made gluten-free. The staff is very knowledgeable about cross-contamination, and made sure to separate it from my boyfriend's normal burger on the tray. They clearly mark that your burger is GF on the inside and outside of the wrapper, as well as on the rather delicious bun itself, so you know that you are being served the correct thing. I had a great restaurant experience there! I'd highly recommend it.
A small, pleasant place with a decent burger (on Udis) and GOOD fries (dedicated drier) They asked if my GF order was Celiac then informed the kitchen throughly. Side bonus: Bell & Evan chicken and Pineland Farms beef available. Downside: the food is good, the bathrooms are distinctly NOT handicap friendly.
I have to say, I've tried a lot of very decent gluten free burgers in my area (Red Robin and British Beer Company, to name a few) but I think this one may be the best one I've tried yet. The only bad thing I have to say about them is that the GF menu is not available online. I've now tried the "Willy" burger and the "Conestoga" and both were really really yummy. The rolls are particularly good, better than the standard Udi's rolls I've had other places. I'm not sure where they get them from, but I definitely hadn't had them anywhere else before. The fries are also GF - personally, I thought the fries were nothing special but put some salt on them and they're not bad. The burgers are the real draw for me - I will definitely be back many times. This would definitely be a good place to bring kids!
burgers? this is the spot! opened the door and the aroma said it all. menu is clearly marked. The staff here made me feel like eating GF was NORMAL. our party had; outlaw Burger, willy burger, sweet potato fries, root beer float all GF they have angry orchard hard cider 3 locations in MA, 1 location in Maine and New Hampshire
Don't know why this particular location takes gluten free product (chicken fingers, fries, etc) and makes then not gluten free. The reason i was told the onions aren't GF at the Worcester location is because the ladle touches the regular bread. You think they'd stop doing that, but at least they're good about cross contamination.
Great, great GF burgers. They are very knowledgable about what is safe for celiacs, and for those who are just " gluten sensitive". That being said, in order to have your GF burger to be safe for a celiac, there are limitations such as not putting your bun on the grill (needs to be toasted) and only certain toppings are safe because of cross contamination from the spoons. (No sautéed onions!) I have mixed feelings, because when Wild Willy's was in Portland, they had a special GF section on their grill, and ALL toppings were available. BUT, here in York, the French fries are made in safe friers and are delicious!! Also, when we were there, the white vinegar on the tables was distilled, and safe! Yum! The one thing we really noticed though was an attitude from the front staff, possibly because of ordering GF. Very uncomfortable. All in all, my husband and I will probably be back if we're down there again.
Was surprised to learn the fries are not gluten free, but understandable. The guacamole and peppers and onions are not gluten free though and I'm really confused as to why. They have no signage about their gluten free options and by asking I opened a Pandora's box of all the odd things that are usually gluten free in every other restaurant.
I asked if the ice cream (giffords) was gf and the woman wasn't 100% sure so she went and brought the ingredients label out for me to read, without any prompting from me. Then she mentioned they had gone through gf training. Love that!!! Great burger! Just wish they had a separate fryer so I could enjoy the fries :)
Excellent base product, my friends have been coming here for a while as the burgers are such a high quality and very reasonably priced. The gluten free bun was fantastic I'd love to know what brand/where they got it because it was great. The restaurant has a separate gluten free menu and was very easy to follow what was gluten free. I'd definitely go back!
The burgers are great and they advertise as gluten free. The front end staff, however, has had an attitude each time my family has been here and has ordered a celiac meal. I know that it takes a cook's attention to make a celiac meal more than a normal meal and it might be a challenge when the kitchen is busy, but IF THEY ADVERTISE THAT THEY ARE GLUTEN FREE THEN THEY SHOULD BE PREPARED TO DEAL WITH IT WITHOUT MAKING ME FEEL GUILTY ABOUT IT! Never a good feeling when you see the cook roll his eyes and complain to the front staff when a celiac order comes in. My wife and kids did not choose to have Celiacs and we are grateful whenever a restaurant offers them any option to eat out but we are choosing not to eat here anymore.
Very disappointed. You really can only have a burger. They told me fries and other sides were not gluten free. The one in Worcester MA is much better....fries and onion rings were gluten free there. I'm hoping they will figure things out and be more like others in the chain.
They offer a GF bun for their burgers, which is definitely more than most places are doing. The GF menu was pretty much limited to that when I went though, maybe it has improved at this point. I paid a lot more than I was expecting for a burger that wasn't that impressive, and there really weren't options for sides. I was a little disappointed after stopping in because of the huge "Gluten Free Menu" sign outside. The manager also made a huge deal about their policy to not cross contaminate, said that only he could handle GF, put on rubber gloves and then put a GF branded bun on the burger and put it in a bag. I know he meant well, but it was sort of a scene. I will say that I'm impressed they're trying, and I know a lot of gluten tolerant people who really like their food, but unfortunately it isn't enough to make me go back.
Good burgers, especially the grass fed ones. The buns used to be heavy kind of like a biscuit but I went recently and now they're much lighter & tastier!
I have no idea why someone would say a replacement product for a bread item is "too bready". What does that even mean? The place was great and very accommodating. The. selection was excellent. Personally I would rather have a review that tells me how safe it is and what kind of options there are than nebulous nonsense.
Best burgers I have had. Very attentive to GF. The buns are even "branded" with GF". Highly recommended.
