I went with a group of friends, with me being the only one with food restrictions. They have a separate GF menu with an array of choices; only one GF option for dessert. They brought out cornbread for the table and offered me a GF roll, which I declined. The server was knowledgeable and answered my questions about handling protocol: order marked as celiac, food marked with allergy stick, manager would bring order verifying GF. I didn’t ask about a separate prep area. I chose a chopped salad (that was delicious). Would definitely go back.

They have gluten free menu, went out of their way to prevent cross contamination and mark the food clearly. They brought out corn bread but once learning I’m a celiac they surprised me with a gluten free roll. Food was delicious. Wait staff incredible and compassionate.

Agree with the other reviewers! Love that they provide gf bread instead of their regular complimentary cornbread. Had their gf French onion soup and chicken club sandwich - both were excellent! And they come out with little "allergy" tags so you know they were being careful and you're getting the right thing. Very impressed with service and food.
I’ve eaten here a few times in the past year and haven’t gotten sick, even though I have Celiac and am very sensitive to cross contamination. I have found that the servers aren’t all knowledgeable about gluten and once was assigned a new server after speaking with the manager. I tend to go out for meals at quieter, non-peak times which may help too. I received gf bread, which was slow to be served but tasty, and each meal, usually a fish dish, was delicious, well prepared, served by someone other than our server, who wore gloves, and the meal was clearly marked as “allergy.” Because of bad experiences at other restaurants I tend to choose meals that are naturally gf so I can eliminate at least one source of potential contamination and worry. This may account for the difference of reviewers experiences, which are certainly troubling to read. I’ve been told each time that the restaurant has separate prep and cooking areas, so now I’m a little concerned by what others here were recently told. All in all, I’ve had delicious meals at Wildfire and great experiences with no illness.

I’ve reacted both times I ate here. The first time I wasn’t sure if it was just a sensitive stomach so I foolishly went back about a year later and reacted again.

I had the GF pepperoni pizza here and got severely sick afterwards. I DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR CELIACS.
Yes
I am new celiac and I haven't eaten here before but they had a Gf Thanksgiving Dinner. Service was great and everyone pretended it was safe but i unfortunately got very sick a few hours later. As it was the only thing I ate that day, i think it was this meal that wasn't celiac safe
No
We have dined here with great success in the past. This time, unfortunately the gf pepperoni pizza Nima tested positive for gluten. They remade it and it tested positive again. Very frustrating. Update: tried this location again about a year later and no change. Gluten free pizza tested positive again. Manager states that there is no dedicated space or utensils and that they really can't do Celiac gf. We won't be back!

Delicious food and a lot of gf options! Best gluten free bread I have ever had. Definitely a great place for an intimate dinner.
This is a swanky place. We are visiting my finace's friends after just getting engaged. We had reservations, and they knew someone was coming in who had issues with any cross-contamination. They assure us, and we make the reservation based largely on Find Me GF reviews.
We got to our table, and they had a GF menu out for me. Cool. I ask the waiter for details on dedicated equipment. He doesn't know anything about the kitchen or gluten. He goes back and finds out that they have a ton of shared equipment that they 'clean really well.'. YIKES!!!!!!!
A total of three people came by my table, and I got to say NO THANKS repeatedly to each person. They never said what their job is at Wildfire. This is all happening in front of my finace's friends with conflicting info from the staff each time, which is damn embarrassing and terrifying. My fiance is wondering if his life will always be like this from now on.
I'm just having water. Glad I ate before I left the house because it smells good.

This place was amazing! We came here for Valentine's day (with a reservation) and the server was incredibly attentive to my gluten free needs. All of my food came out with a little allergen label on it. The gluten free menu was huge, and had so many options! The chocolate lava cake was perfect for two people. PS, they participated in winter restaurant week, I'm hoping they do so again! I will definitely be coming back.

I ate at Wildfire in McLean, VA for the first time last night. Great food, great service. They have a completely separate area for cooking their gluten-free items to prevent cross-contact. Extensive GF menu with a variety of choices. I opted for the Seafood Newburg Pasta and a side of balsamic roasted vegetables. The portions were generous with enough leftover to have for lunch today. They have excellent GF bread that they bake in-house from scratch. It was so nice to have a yummy, "normal" dining experience!

I am so happy! They have an amazing menu, lots of choices. And they brought me a gluten free biscuit. It was great!!!

Very good gluten free burgers and served on gluten free restaurant made bread. The burgers are very large and filling. As a side I had the au gratin potatoes. They were delicious!
One of my favorites before going GF and still love it. They have a large selection on their gluten free menu, from more casual meals like pizza, pasta and burgers, to fancier dishes like beef wellington and seafood. Desserts and dinner rolls were great. They were very knowledgeable and careful about CC. All of my meals were labeled with a large toothpick-like stick with the word "allergy" on it (I'm assuming they use the same labels for all special diets). I can't wait to go back.

Superb! Atmosphere, food and service all excellent!
The best GF restaurant I have seen. Very accommodating, even in a large group of 90 people and with no advanced notice. . So capable we had my daughter's rehearsal dinner there with an entire GF dinner for all 40 people. Staff very knowledgeable. Food delicious.
The chocolate chip cookies are baked fresh, chewy and warm.

excellent GF bread. extensive GF menu. service and food excellent.
Their GF bread was amazing! It wasn't hard like a brick like most bread I've had, and had a satisfying taste. The GF penne was tasty, and they're willing to show you the brand of pasta they use--I'm planning on tracking it down, as it's the best I've had (brown rice flour). Good flour less chocolate cake.
Plus, it has fantastic ambiance and music, and I felt like a normal person just eating a somewhat modified meal.

Great GF bread. Large portions, but slow to get meal. Enjoyed French Onion soup.
A very large GF menu with different options. The service was great and the food was even better. I really like that they flagged my food made me feel more confident that they were taking care in preparing my food. Did not have any issues after eating there and would without a doubt eat there again!

it was fantastic. we started with gf bread. I ordered the beet and goat cheese salad and the chicken moreno with au gratin potatoes. my husband had pizza. we were too full for dessert. can't wait to go back.

wonderful experience every time I eat here. I have a very sensitive allergy and have never had a problem. Probably one of the largest GF menus in the area with plenty of options both GF vegetarian and GF meat dishes.
Absolutely fantastic! They have an extensive gluten free menu, everyone is trained on the allergy, and there is even a separate spot in the kitchen for gluten free prep! The food was scrumptious. Plus, to my surprise, they serve gluten free bread for you to munch on while you order/wait. I felt normal. And did I mention how tasty? Yum!
They have a lot of gluten free items on their menu but my favorite is actually their bread...it's not the heavy brick kind!
Yes
Extensive gluten free menu. Great food. Super service. Gf food comes with a flag in it to avoid confusing plates.
Other reviewers said it all - I thought they ha given me the wrong menu because there were so many options!
has an entire 2 page Gf menu. this restaurant really deserves 5 stars but my some of my Gf pancakes were not cooked all the way through. although that is because they cooked me regular pancakes and had to recook them. I had candied Bacon pancakes they were really good. I will definitely go back for another try!!
Fantastic! So many options and knowledgeable servers. Love, love, love this place.
For starters, it's nice when you walk into a restaurant and they offer gluten free bread! Plenty of menu options to choose from steak, fish, chicken and pork entrees. Also, great side dishes including scalloped potatoes :)
Wonderful food. Separate gf menu. Gluten free bread brought out before dinner was pretty good and no extra charge. Good selection of gf items on menu. Food came out marked with allergy stick. Excellent service and felt safe. French fries here are not safe due to cross contamination our waiter mentioned so that was a bummer for my son, but the mashed potatoes were good.

The very best GF bread I’ve ever had! Everything comes out with an allergy tag and there is a separate GF menu. I love the variety and feel very comfortable with how the staff and chef responded to my needs. Highly recommend!

A relatively large GF menu. They offered GF bread (although I think it was actually a grilled GF hamburger bun, but not so bad!). Food prepared separately and the “allergy” designated with a skewer.
