I called the restaurant to ask about their GF options and also verified with the staff when placing my order. The staff was very aware of celiac and kind. There are two options for GF crust (GF or cauliflower). When you mention celiac, they have one persmake your meal, change gloves, and get all toppings from the fridge, only touched by the prep chef. The have separate cutting surfaces. Ordered a GF pizza (only option is large) and a arge salad to share. The GF crust was very thin. Many tea, lemonade, and flavored soda options available as fountain drinks. Felt safe eating here, no issues!

Been here a couple times. My wife has celiac and we’ve always had a great and safe experience. The gluten free crust tastes very similar to the regular.

The staff here is knowledgeable and they are very careful about cross contamination. They asked me if I have celiac and then explained that they will grab untouched toppings from the back. The pizza was great! There are two crust options: a regular gf crust and a cauliflower one. All the toppings are also clearly marked gf. I felt very safe and had no reaction.

I’ve at a lot of pizza places since I got diagnosed and this place by far has the most reliable and safe options. Everything is clearly labeled and the staff is very patient and knowledgeable!

Our favorite place to go when in Santa Cruz! My celiac 10 year old always gets the gluten-free pizza and has never gotten sick. The staff is always very patient with my ordering and always reassures me of the precautions they take. The additional staff cruising the restaurant is always fun and kind. The rest of the non-celiac family loves the regular and gf pizza. My husband says it’s his number one favorite pizza place! Lol

The pizza was the best pizza I had in a long time and the other reviews said they take precautions and they even mark it as celiac on the register but I got sick and even threw away the other leftovers.

Happening and busy casual hangout. GF pizza had a decently tasting thin crust (a bit crunchy on the edges). Generous portions!

Great GF pizza and if you mention celiac they will change gloves and be careful with prep. The pizza comes on its own foil tray. My son and I get sick from gluten and we were both totally fine after eating the pizza here. Very casual place but has seating area.
I’m usually pretty nervous trying a pizza place as a celiac and casein allergy person, but I tried Woodstock and had no allergy issues from either gluten or dairy. Staff is really knowledgeable, there are signs posted next to the register that list the pizza crust ingredients and what items contain dairy. I felt safe eating here and the pizza was delicious. Definitely recommend for gluten and dairy free foodies! The vegan cheese is Daiya.

Amazing pizza, we are from the uk staying at the Hyatt hotel so decided to get a takeaway from Woodstock. Food was amazing! The gluten free pizzas were a good size really impressed and they tasted great!

I've eaten at Woodstock's at least 8 times since being diagnosed. I've never had a problem. They understand what being a ceilac is and are great and preparing your pizza separately from the others.

There is a clearly marked menu with gluten free, dairy free, and dairy free items. The person who took our orders was very knowledgeable about celiac and clearly explained cross contamination protocols. When he realized that they couldn’t guarantee celiac friendly with the sauce we ordered, he came and asked us to choose a different sauce since they only had one bin of the other & they touched it to pizza, so there could be cross contamination. He also personally made our wings to make sure they were correct. We felt very safe eating here

Best pizza I’ve had since going gluten free. Menu labeled well for gluten, dairy, and veg/vegan. Hubs is dairy free, and was able to eat the crust and daiya mozz shreds. Staff is competent.

I’ve eaten here for years and never had a problem. Always specify gluten free, celiac safe. I’ve been told that for toppings they cut up fresh ones for the gf pizzas. The crust is good and they have dairy free cheese and it is soy free as well.

I’ve been here a few times. However, I just had this pizza 2 nights ago and the day after my stomach felt sick all day. I wasn’t positive it was the pizza so I used the Nima device on the pizza and sure enough it came back with gluten found. Kind of a bummer cuz the pizza is good. But not worth feeling sick for a whole day. You can also only buy a gluten free pizza in the large size so if you order a pizza it’s not going to be any cheaper than $30. After this, I’m planning on staying away from this restaurant. It’s just not safe with all the possibilities of cross contamination in the kitchen which i’ve proven do exist. I would recommend looking for a different place to fill your needs for gluten free pizza.

We used to eat here before my son was diagnosed with celiac and were pleasantly surprised by how accommodating they were. The gluten free pizza is terrific.

They had everything listed in great detail to ensure that dietary restrictions were met and handled as safely as possible— while also providing SO MANY options!
SO MANY OPTIONS! Especially for a pizza place, it was pretty incredible how many gluten free options were available. All items were customizable, and almost everything could be made gluten free (and dairy free!).
Dairy free/ vegan options as well!

They use dedicated gluten-free pizza pans when putting gluten-free pizzas into their oven.
Variety of tasty pizza toppings. We ate Kickin’ Carnitas, All Meat, and Garlic Bird. All were on the gluten-free crust. A touch chewy, but yummy!

Best GF crust Ive ever had, appreciate the GF toppings and that the server asked me, rather than me having to state I was celiac. They take extra care to avoid cross contamination. And over all service was phenomenal. I am only in town visiting, I wish we had one of these close to home.

Best gf crust I’ve ever had! Their food was great.

Gluten free pizza and loaded tots were so good
If you tell them you have celiac, they take extra care to avoid cross contamination. I spoke with the manager who told me that they dedicate a person to the celiac pizza to ensure it’s safe to eat. They change their gloves, use new ingredients from the refrigerator, bake the pizza on a clean baking sheet since they only have one oven, and use a clean pizza cutter. I appreciated his detailed and thorough explanation, and I enjoyed my gluten free pizza very much.

I am always hesistant with pizza as is it often cross contaminated. I've had their pizza once and didnt get sick. the other time did salad and wings. if you tell them celiac then they are super careful!

One star because they offer gluten fee pizza, however it is baked and prepared in the same area as all the other pizza. So disappointing.
No
Definitely not safe if you have any real issue with gluten. Was completely sick

Wow. I walked into this place, saw the assembly line for making pizzas (it's an order at the counter place) and thought there is no way our family will not get gluten-bombed. We left.

Super yummy. Would highly recommend!
Yes
I know people that work here and I know for a fact they do not change gloves for different toppings and they cook the pizzas in the same oven if your are truly celiac this is not the place for you... I hate how many people suggest it too... Delightgf is bull***t if you ask me they suggest businesses that I know are not safe for celiacs because I get sick every time
No
Great, delicious pizza!!

We love the names of the pies at Woodstock's, which caters to the college crowd in Santa cruz. But even if you graduated long ago, you can appreciate delicious glutenfree pizza like the "all meat orgy" topped with canadian style bacon, sausage, pepperoni, ground beef and salami, certain to bring you back to your collegiate years.
Delicious food, staff were great and very clean atmosphere and restaurant. Loud/noisy but okay to bring a family. Very casual. Yummy pizza and salads!
gluten free is not by the slice but who doesn't want pizza to take home. tree hugger salad is yummy! pizza was fabulous! nice lunch time atmosphere.
A bit pricey but lovely gf pizza! Perfect size to share with a friend!
Pizza dough handlers touching the same bin of cheese as the stuff that lands on my Gf pizza. I'm disappointed that this place carries a GIG trained label. The guy said this place is not for celiacs.
My first gf pizza! So good. I'm always looking for food I can take home so I don't have to cook every meal, so I didn't mind getting the large. It will probably feed me for two more meals after tonight (slices arent huge). The only "tell" was that the crust was pretty crunchy, but the parts with sauce were nice and soft. I'm driving 90 min for thus pizza whenever I can!
They made me a delicious gluten free pizza, but they could only make a large. I'm a teenager with friends so that wasn't a problem, but for others, it may seem absurd to not be able to make a personal gf pizza. The staff was knowledgeable and understood what gluten free means. Really enjoyed my experience :)
Have a friend who works here, and after she learned more about sensitive celiac disease she said there is not enough ability to control for cross contamination for celiac in their kitchen. Wings may be solid option at opening.

My kiddo and I have eaten here many, many times with no issues. Staff is friendly and knowledgable about GFpractices, preparing in a clean GF area, changing gloves, fresh cheese and toppings, clean pizza cutter, etc. It takes a little extra time for GF orders, so plan ahead for that. The crust isn’t great (and is almost always burnt around the edges), but the sauce and cheese are good and they go heavy in the toppings, so that’s nice. My only complaint would be the price, as with most GF food we pay extra for less, so it’s too expensive for us to eat often, we try to always buy on Mondays when they have a BOGO though. We also ordered delivery the first time this week (called the order in for clarity as opposed to ordering online) and didn’t have any issues. Was really nice to order a pizza like a normie.
