Everything here is AMAZING! Their cheese cakes and pies are unlike any other bakery. I have not had anything that I don’t love. The English muffins are so good that when I go there to get a breakfast sandwich I buy just the English muffins to take home. You have to try the canele! It’s amazing!!

Overall pleasant place, nice staff, desserts are great. The sandwich I had was a bit plain but still good and I didn’t get sick. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area.

What my husband ordered was great. He got the last chicken salad unfortunately for the people behind us in line and others that came in only to walk in and wait in line and leave. They won’t do breakfast very strict on the time. As of right now they have hummus. Slim pickings and no more sandwiches. What they have is good enough but they have. 6+ hours of being open and no more sandwiches.

This is my favorite bakery and coffee shop in Richmond. They used to have a second location in Church Hill that I really loved for both proximity and ambiance. Whenever I’m south of the James, I try to stop in. Their pies are amazing (always vegan) and GF when ordered. Love this place!

I love their GF caneles, muffins, coffeecake, and chocolate chess pie. I have never felt sick from WPA! I also love their coffee.

Amazing gluten free desserts and sandwiches. They make their own gluten free English muffins that taste better than the gluten filled ones I ate prior to celiac diagnosis. Their lunches are delicious big sandwich on home made gluten free bread with chips and a pickle. They have a wide variety of gluten free pies, cakes, cookies, & cheese cakes. The gluten free muffin flavor changes daily. Their gluten free sour cream coffee cake is better than the gluten filled ones. Amazing local independent run business!

Absolute heaven! All of the gluten free options were delicious! Even my non GF husband loved their coffee cake. Huge fan. (Gluten sensitive)

Bakery with gluten free options available. I asked if they had any baked goods. Seems like they had a few different fresh options. I had a lemon strawberry muffin which was good. I did not ask about sandwiches or breads. Good place to grab a muffin if your in the area. Not sure about the sandwiches because I didn’t ask.

So when I'm going to the VA I have to swing by here. I have tried several items that are absolutely delicious! Chicken salad sandwich, blueberry muffins and the best cherry pie ever. The crust was flakey and buttery. Very hygienic handling in general but separate utensils used for gluten free items.

The service was awful. First I asked if they had anything GF and the girl said with an attitude “Well, that’s what we’re known for!” This answer caught me by surprise so I explained that I was from out of town and didn’t know the place, but went on asking if they have a dedicated GF kitchen and turns out they don’t, and she said that she could not guarantee that they don’t have cross contamination. The conversation was very weird, awkward and misleading.

Almost every time I’ve been there, they’ve had multiple GF items to choose from. As many as 5 options. They always have the coffee cake and canalés. So good.

So good and knowledgeable of food issues as I’m GF as well as no eggs and dairy.

Ordered a sheet cake for a anniversary event for quilters. Had regular cake for most of the 165 attendees but we had about a dozen of us that needed a GF option to enjoy the celebration. Their cake was wonderful and everyone enjoyed it. There was so much leftover I cut it and freezes the pieces and it still tasted great after 6 months

I'm in town for the UCI Road World Championships and found this gem through the Find Me GF app. It's fantastic. The macarons are stupid good. The canelés are tender. I also got sour cream coffee cake and an almond raspberry muffin but I haven't tried those yet. They also had a gf pumpkin pie. The staff member was knowledgeable and I didn't get sick. Awesome!

Not the best cup of coffee, but the GF muffins are stellar. They always have at least 1 GF option. If they happen to have Raspberry Almond, grab a few.

Lovely staff and the best muffin I've ever had. EVER. My only regret is that I was traveling and couldn't take pie and cake home with me.

While this place isn't 100% gluten-free they do carry gluten-free and vegan items and they have fantastic flavor! If you are a super sensitive celiac it may not be for you but I was glad I made the trip. The macaroons are incredibly tasty! The owner is also really nice and the place is super cute even if you just go and have some coffee with friends!

I'm not sure what the other person was talking about but I would like to clear a few things up in case you are concerned or confused by other reviews

1)it's strange that a person would say nom gluten free people should consider eating at a bakery that's non a dedicated gf business. non gluties are going to eat there all the time b/c it's not a dedicated gluten free business. No need to convince them.

2) the decor and atmosphere is totally charming and comfortable. It's a little small but very cozy.

3) the coffee has been pretty close to excellent every time I've been there. I'm a former chef and food snob- the coffee is defiantly good enough for a coffee snob to have a perfectly passable cup.

4) while I love it here I've been really concerned that they keep gf and non gf pastries on the same trays and that they use the same tongs for both too. It leads me to believe that they are not good or knowledgeable about cross contamination. In other words, you could be ok but it's not celiac safe.

This place is my favorite gluten free bakery in the United States, and I usually make it a point to visit gf bakeries when I travel. The taste and feel of each baked good is superb, and the flavors are always amazing with fresh fruit in the muffins... This is the guy who also makes desserts for Ipanema. :)

The absolute best bakery I have found in Richmond. Not dedicated gf but multiple gf (and vegan) selections available every day. On the day we went, we tried three of the four gf options available and they were all amazing! This is where I will be getting all my future birthday cakes, holiday pies, etc.
