Easy ordering (drive in with QR menu or window service), fast service, delicious food. The chicken nuggets are a teriyaki spin on nuggets, delicious and unique. The waffle fries are amazing - skin-on, even! My husband says the brisket bowl was good, and I can vouch for the smoked salmon. Our kids were also happy with their food. Large portions - we have leftovers!

I wish they would open a branch in WA state, but that seems pretty unlikely 😂 but we'd eat there every couple of weeks if they did!

This restaurant is on Valley Mills in the site of an old Sonic, but you still order at the main counter. It was so nice to have waffle fries again and the chicken is really good! A great spot to stop at in Waco.

Amazing food, super kind owner. Tried the salmon bc of all the positive reviews and it WAS great salmon with smoky flavor, but unless you just really love salmon, get the nugg box. The nuggets are sooo flavorful and crispy. Easily the best GF chicken nugget I’ve ever had.

Great all gf find in Waco! Food was delicious and inexpensive. Got the salmon box, the nug box, and waffle fries. Even my gluten eating husband said he would go back again next time we’re in Waco!

Different but very good. I was willing to try it since I am celiac and dairy free. I was pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed it very much. My husband got the smoked chicken rice bowl and I got the veggie rice bowl. Both delicious!

Have to say it was a little out of our wheelhouse being from Kansas, but hey, your gluten free and fair free Im there! What a pleasant surprise! Each of my husband and I dishes had very different flavors. Both very good! Price was unbelievable reasonable, especially since the box was pretty small and I was a little concerned- until I picked it up! Over full so much they had to use a sticker to keep it shut! Took me 2 sittings to eat it all! Would be a weekly go to if we lived locally. LOVED IT

This place is amazing! We have 5 in our family that are very sensitive to gluten (one Celiac), and Yaki was not only delicious, but there we no tummy aches or reactions both times we ate here. HIGHLY recommend!! We were just visiting Waco - Wish we had one near our home.

I went back in April on my way back to Louisiana from Texas. They were so kind and the food was so fresh and delicious. I got the salmon and it was filling. They give you so much food and I didn’t have to worry about gluten. 10/10 recommended!

I have Celiac disease and I am very reactive. We found Yaki Texas Teriyaki on a quick trip to Waco. It was delicious 100% gluten free!!! Everything was cooked fresh! The meat is smoked and cooked on site. The smoked pulled pork was served in a cute box with fresh made slaw, perfectly seasoned and smoked pulled pork and delicious rice. We also got the chicken nug box which did not disappoint! There are 4 flavourful sauces and I liked all of them!Perfectly cooked and large portions. It was so good we went back before heading home to Ft Worth later in the afternoon! The owner and chef was there and gave out new puppy some ground chicken that he makes in house with the leftover chicken. Our puppy loved it ! It came in a little box, the chicken was cooked, no seasoning and warm! Perfect! The place was a former Sonic that was redone with cute picnic tables and dog friendly. Fun plant murals and paint colors on the building! There were widows and it was very clean. Order from online menu, easily scanned or at the window! They will bring your food to your car! We will be back for sure! I wish they would open one in DFW!

Dedicated gluten free facility! Really good and fun. LOW key but very tasty. We split the fries, a box of chick nugs, and a box of chicken, veggies, and rice (no slaw) and we got all the sauces except the wing sauce, they were out. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend! I texted with them beforehand, and they could not have been nicer. Fun and good pricing, highly recommend. I did not even ask them about being gluten free….can you imagine?!!?! ha ha! Peace of mind!

Absolutely amazing food! Very friendly staff with a cool vibe. I had the chicken nug box with waffle fries. When was the last time I had waffle fries!!! They’re also getting ready to roll out a GF and DF ice cream, had a free sample during my first visit and it was great.

My only complaint, I live two and a half hours away!

Yaki serves rice boxes with white sushi rice, your choice of smoked meat (or veggies!), topped with slaw. Everything on their menu is gluten free since they use gluten free ingredients to make their unique version of teriyaki sauce. The smoked meat has a great BBQ flavor. Delicious! Must try.
