I loved Pita Inn’s food before going gluten free. However, the last time I went there (now being GF),I ordered the vegetarian combo and told the cashier I was allergic to gluten. She forgot to take off the tabbouleh to make it gluten free. The manager was very nice and gave me a new plate. However, I did end up getting sick still. I think it was the falafel. Looking at the menu I saw that the croutons and kibbeh (made with bulgur wheat) are fried, and given previous reviews it seems like they have a shared fryer. I wish they had an alert on their allergen menu that the fryer is shared instead of saying their falafel is gluten free. This place should be fine for you if you are not worried about CC, but for celiacs (and NCGS people who are more sensitive like me) I wouldn’t recommend unfortunately:(

Honestly the food was pretty delicious. However, I asked the guy when I ordered which items contained gluten and he said only the pita, but then didn’t relay to the kitchen that this was a gluten free order. I picked up my tray that had pita bread and pita chips on my salad. The steak was seasoned well but was pretty chewy.

Lots of options and great food. They will sub out couscous for rice and are helpful. Only a few of their menu items contain it. Very glad to have found this place.
Yes
Fresh and made to order delicious food. Just tell them to hold the pita from your meal as well as pita chips being added to your salad.
Wasn’t sure walking in if I’d be okay. Had the mujadara with the side salad and an order of the baba ghannoug without the pitas. Food was delicious. No reaction. Note: The falafel itself is gluten free but fried in the same fryer as the pita chips.
