I loved Pita Inn’s food before going gluten free. However, the last time I went there (now being GF),I ordered the vegetarian combo and told the cashier I was allergic to gluten. She forgot to take off the tabbouleh to make it gluten free. The manager was very nice and gave me a new plate. However, I did end up getting sick still. I think it was the falafel. Looking at the menu I saw that the croutons and kibbeh (made with bulgur wheat) are fried, and given previous reviews it seems like they have a shared fryer. I wish they had an alert on their allergen menu that the fryer is shared instead of saying their falafel is gluten free. This place should be fine for you if you are not worried about CC, but for celiacs (and NCGS people who are more sensitive like me) I wouldn’t recommend unfortunately:(
