I am just a traveler passing through, and I ate here-due to my intolerance to gluten, I do not recommend eating here if you are cealiac🤷🏻♀ staff was super nice and friendly, but the cross contamination is serious 🤷🏻♀🫶

Ordered burger with gf bun and salad. Very helpful staff delicious food, warned off fries because of cross contamination. Cauliflower gf pizza base sounded nice too .

The waitress was great and knowledgeable about the contamination risks. I had the cauliflower crust gf pepperoni pizza. It was delicious and I didn’t get sick. Yay!

My husband is a sensitive celiac. He had the meat pizza. He did not get sick at all but has had better pizza crusts. Very good gluten free beer.

I love Zaxs we come whenever we are in town. I got the gf pizza and it was delicious. Waitress was knowledgeable and informed me they have a separate oven for gf.

I ordered a sandwich, and they have gluten-free buns or so they say. When the sandwich arrived, it was clearly a whole wheat bun. I smelled it, and it smelled like a whole wheat bun. I tore some off, and it tore like a whole wheat bun. Lastly, my wife, who can eat gluten, tasted it and said it tasted like a pretty good whole wheat bun. As such, I ate the contents of the sandwich but not the bun, we shouldn't seem to be too big of a problem as I'm not all that sensitive and don't have celiac. I would not recommend eating here.
They have gluten-free pizza, but it's probably quite cross contaminated. Also, it appears they only have a cauliflower crust.

Decent. The only thing marked on my menu as GF was the pizza crust, which came with a warning for cross contamination. I had that and was fine, but it wasn't that good - would recommend other locations for GF and in general.

Went based on reviews and things have changed. Have gluten free pizza crust but menu states not recommended due to cross contamination. No separate fryer. Had a salad with plain grilled chicken breast,

Did not get glutened by the cauliflower crust. Not my favorite I’ve ever had, but still pretty good! Got the tree hugger.

I had the cauliflower crust pizza and it was amazing! Very tasty and it was not super thin. Possibly the best pizza I have had since switching my diet. I did not get glutened but they are not a full dedicated gf establishment.

My wife and I had dinner at Zax on Saturday, June 19, 2021. My wife has celiac and is VERY gluten sensitive. If she eats anything with gluten she becomes very nauseous. We are happy to report that Zax is a safe place to eat - with good food, too. There is no specific gluten free menu, but our waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was able to tell us what items were available - while also cautioning that they are not a dedicated gluten free kitchen, so there is a risk of cross contamination. My wife ordered a burger, with a gluten free bun, and a side of vegetables (they apparently do have a gluten free fryer for sweet potato fries). She said the food was delicious and she had no problems whatsoever.

The hamburger my husband had was great! It was served on an Udi’s bun. Sadly there’s no fryer, but the large hamburger made for a good meal! They also had GF pizza crust (cauliflower), but it said on their menu they did not suggest that for people with celiac.

I had the hamburger which they had Udi buns for. It was very juicy and yummy. Sadly there is not a dedicated gf fryer so no fries but they do offer a side salad which I ordered. The salad was not the typical iceberg lettuce with a tomato or two and some shredded carrots. It was good with spring greens, red onions and cucumbers. Over all I was happy with my meal.

Great experience at Zax! The staff was knowledgeable about GF and cross contamination. I had a cheeseburger from the grill (with Udi's GF bun) and they offered me either sauteed veggies or baked potato on the side. It was delicious and I had no issues after. I am celiac. Also, appreciated their COVID precautions and ability to dine al fresco.

I told the waitress I could have zero cross-contamination of gluten. We talked about salad dressings and how the meet was prepared to make sure I would be safe. Then when she brought out the salad there was a dinner roll right on top of it.
I got the Cobb salad. It was delicious! I was just surprised the waitress put a dinner roll on top of it after we talked so much about keeping all the ingredients gluten-free.
Sadly she brought the meal when I was away from the table and my husband took the dinner roll off of it so I didn’t realize the roll had been touching it till I was finished. Now I’m wondering if she even checked the salad dressing ingredients.

UDi’s gf bun mushroom blue cheese burger. Delicious yam waffle fries. And a omission gf beer.
Hostess said they have GF buns & pizza crust, but menu said they're not celiac safe, and waiter seemed fairly unfamiliar with cross-contamination issues.
