The manager talked to me directly and served my food personally to avoid cross-contamination.

I had the steamed clams and a side of mashed potatoes and I loved it.

They do have GF options, but the waiter did not know what celiac disease was and didn’t really understand cross contamination. However, the waiter did make efforts to double check labels and talk to kitchen staff.

This place is NOT safe for celiacs. The menu shows GF for things they can amend to be gluten free; the GF French toast is a typo on the brunch menu. Boo. Your only options are a breakfast scramble, hamburger patty, and .... wait for it...salad! *sigh* The wait staff was kind and really kid friendly. I would pass on this tourist spot and try your luck at Margaritaville.

I was a little hesitant based on the 1 review, but knew that Thur night lobster would work really well. Better than I expected! the menu clearly marked which items could be made GF, and out waiter was well informed.

3 stars because they don't have a gluten free menu but you can get steamed mussels and other items including lobster on Thursday nights. Great for summer nights on the beach.
