After reading the reviews we decided to try Zingerman’s out. The manager came out with an iPad to help read us all the ingredients and figure out what was safe. It was not a busy night. I thought “so far, so good.”

When they brought out our meals, they had gluten sandwiches on the same tray as GF (in baskets with baskets touching). That should have been my first warning.

My mom ordered a GF Rueben and sent it back because it was cold (supposed to be hot). 2nd time it came back it was still cold; cheese wasn’t even melted.

Within five minutes of finishing my meal I ran upstairs to the restroom (yes, the restroom is up a flight of stairs) and proceeded to heave up my dinner. I haven’t thrown up in a restaurant before and I never want to have that experience again.

The gluten free bread tasted okay but completely crumbled apart to the point that I couldn’t even hold my sandwich to eat after one bite.

My sandwich was extremely expensive and lacked flavor. The bread fell apart. And I got glutened.
