My daughter has celiacs disease and they make gluten free in another part of the kitchen. They also keep the dishes separate as well great place
VERY expensive, two large pizzas cost us $63, and only one was gluten free (which they upcharge for). My families regular pizza came out first, leaving me to watch them eat for 25 minutes (needless to say they had finished their pizza) before mine even arrived. It was not worth the wait or price.
Great pizza and DF options as well. Plenty for left overs! A bit pricey but seems like everything is here!
Really great GF pizza options. A winner!
Love zpizza! I have never gotten sick from any of their locations. They are trained very well to prepare and cook food free of cross contamination for celiacs. I had the pear salad and BBQ chicken pizza from the Honolulu location. Both were delicious and full of flavor.
Best gluten free pizza! Vegan options too.
Gluten free pizza was great. The person taking orders knew which ingredients I could have. They took precautions to avoid cross contamination by changing gloves, using a separate pan to cook in, and cutting the pizza in a different location.
Best GF pizza we have ever had. We are dairy-free as well and they offer Daiya vegan cheese which makes our pizza complete. The wait was about 20 minutes for them to cook our pizza, but we'll worth it. We have been before and will return on future trips!
Pizzeria dine in area is small but worth the wait. They have a menu listing all ingredients that are GF. Pizza was tasty and was fine for the Celiac people in our group. They advertise their ingredients as Organic. They have 2 GF pizza sizes - small (10") and large (14"). 10" GF pizza with 2 toppings was $18, 1 topping was $17. A non-GF 10" pizza with about 5 toppings (American Pizza) was $13. So the up charge for GF is significant.
Outstanding pizza, best gf crust I have ever tasted. Also available in two sizes small (1 person) and large (2-3).
I've eaten here many times and I love this place. great atmosphere, great service!
Great pizza gf crust can be done in two sizes and all the pizza can be done gf
Great pizza! They are super friendly and have good service. They can make any pizza gf. We got the greek pizza. Delicious!
Awesome pizza and even has dairy free cheese options
Very good gluten free pizza. Served fresh and hot.
Just had the American GF pizza at ZPizza at the Honolulu location. Delish! Crust was nice and crispy, their sauce is tasty and all the toppings were wonderful. Hubby had a Santa Fe pizza (on regular crust) and he said it was very spicy. He had a bite of my GF pizza and was in love. Said it didn't even taste GF. Highly recommend. Wish there was a location in Oklahoma City!
They made the most delicious pizza I've had to date. Crust was crispy and they offered Daiya cheese for those who don't want milk product. The pizza is made on a pizza pan that is used only for gluten free pizzas. A little pricey but worth it.
Have gf menu! Great Caesar salad without croutons and great crispy gf pizza with many options. Loved the Italian sausage!!!
Seem to understand cross contamination issues. They are not a dedicated GF kitchen but the GF crusts are separate from the other crusts, they are cooked on their own pans in a separate part of the oven and are cut in their own box with a dedicated/separate GF cutter (all according to the person on the phone). I have eaten there before with no issues...but everyone is different. :)
My Yelp review: I drive from Houston to Austin for their Gluten Free Pizza! Well... sort of! Been making day trips this past year to visit my grandmother in a nearby nursing home and it used to be hard to find somewhere I could safely eat. But the "Find Me Gluten Free" app led me here and this is by far the best pizza I have found since my diagnosis 5 years ago. And the fact they offer GF pizza in two sizes is a huge bonus, I can now share with my newly diagnosed aunt!
Awesome GF pizza and ingredients! Very crispy, nice flavor, reasonable pricing and very helpful staff. Wish there was one of these near where we live! Not sure if they have a dedicated oven and prep surface (I'm highly gluten-intolerant but not confirmed celiac).
I watched them make the pizza and they seemed to take all the right steps to prevent cross contamination but I only keep the give about 10 mins and spent the next two in the bathroom. The pizza was good but if I ever went again I would watch the prep very closely
UPDATE: ordered a pizza 9/2015 and they have now learned how to cook it properly so that it is crispy. Much better! Staff on the phone should be more knowledgeable but as this was a chain I knew what to order. 12/2013 Great that there are gluten free dairy free pizza options. About $25 for a 14inch two topping pizza. However, they needed to bake the crust before adding toppings a little more, it wasn't crusty enough. And they should use cheddar daiya- it has a better taste. Overall though I recommend it.
Sunday Aug.16 I ordered 2 extra large pizzas with free chicken wings. I was the 4th person to grab a slice of and I saw a baby cockaroach in the box. Immediately I grabbed a paper towel and killed it. I tried to contact zpizza but they were already closed. I ordered after 8pm. The next morning I contacted management and she had me call the owner. Originally Pablo (the owner) told me I would have to return the uneaten pizzas to get a refund. I explained to him that I was there for work and I lived over an hour away. (Why would I save food with a cockaroach in it?) He then told me 2 give him 2 days and he would refund my money once he got back to his office. 2 days later I called him and no answer. I called the pizza shop directly and was told by the manager that Pablo (the owner was not going to issue a refund. As a business owner why would you tell your customer one thing then ignore their calls and have your managers tell them the complete opposite? Bad customer service. They are making no attempt to rectify the problem or even apologize that my food had a roach in it. So basically, I just gave them $43 for pizza we had to throw away. I do not like dishonest business owners. I would not recommend this place, not because the food was bad but because they have poor customer service and a dishonest business owner!
July 29 2015 updating my last review: we just went here again we ordered 4 gf take and bake pizzas I explained I needed no cross contamination and was assured it would be safe. When we picked up the pizzas we again asked if they were all gf and made in a separate location we were assured they were. When we got them home one crust looked different than the rest when I called about it I was told that they made 3 gf and the other HAD gluten. The staff never apologized but offered to refund me for the one pizza. I will Not be back.
They have a great tasting gluten free option but it does not appear to have a separate preparation area and communication with the owners/cook seems a little limited. Hard to know how seriously they take gluten free preparation. I would caution those with extreme sensitivity and Celiac- however, my hubby (Celiac) seemed to eat the pizza without issues.
Consistently good, quick delivery. We even had them cater our 5 yr old's Bday party. The delivery was on time and everything was hot and yummy. I highly recommend. Tues. night is 1/2 price pizza, even large GF, and they will deliver it too (I think for $3) which is still a great deal.
Nothing about this place was good!! We walked in and no one acknowledged us-we had to ask to place an order. The counter boy tried to be friendly and pointed out the gf selections to me. We ordered and waited 45 minutes for my gf pizza andmy daughters small pizza. My husbands calzone didn't come out for 5 more minutes. There was NOONE there when we walked in and 1 other family came after us. They got their order before us. My gf pizza wasn't even cooked all the way and had to ask them to cook it longer. Even after they cooked it longer-and I had to go up and get it-it still was undercooked. None of our food had any flavor. My husband's calzone was a lil bigger than a hot pocket but tasted about the same. I broke a glass and had to ask them to come clean up the shattered glass. I use this APP frequently while traveling and that's why I picked this place. That is why I'm writing a review. I would never come here again.
Great GF pizza straight from the oven. The owners are often on site and are very conscientious, as are the employees. The pizza is delicious and the toppings and sauce are so fresh. There is literally no other GF pizza like this to my knowledge. Our #1 pizza place.
I originally gave this place 5 stars because I was so excited to be able to have gluten free dairy free pizza delivered, but since then I have gotten sick twice. I thought maybe the first time was a fluke but then I knew there was definitely something wrong when I got sick again. They must not be taking precautions to prevent cross contamination. So if you're just gluten free for fun, have at it but if you have celiac disease, STAY AWAY!
My mom loves the gluten-free zPizza option and that's really the most important part. For me, since I do not have to eat gluten-free - the pizza crust always seems rubbery. The pizza crust is never cut completely so we have to tear each piece apart with ends poorly. It tastes quite sweet, too. Sweeter than their normal pizzas. Overall, it's a great option for my mother and she's very satisfied. Their online menu allows you to view only they gluten-free items. This helps a lot when ordering!
I have eaten here and not gotten sick. if you tell them that you have a gluten allergy, they will be extra cautious about cleaning the prep area and using different utensils. The crust is thin yet chewy. So far, I like their crust the best of the local gluten free pizza that I've tried. They have gourmet toppings and don't charge extra to get a pizza gluten free. Unfortunately, the lunch special of pizza by the slice does not include the gluten free pizzas. none of the sandwiches are gluten free, only the pizza.
I got really sick eating here. They use a special paddle, change their gloves and use good handling procedures right up to the point where they put the GF crust on the stone with the regular pizzas. Other locations put the gluten free pizzas on a pan when firing them which keeps them from being contaminated. This is not a good restaurant for customers avoiding gluten for medical reasons.
This place is amazing. I love their employees. The manager is highly educated and aware of minimizing contamination and trains people to be meticulous (his cousin has celiac). I've never once had a problem with their pizza, which is amazing because I can't even walk into a bakery these days. The crust is delicious, but full of refined flour, so I can't overdo it without feeling a little over-starched. (this is also a plus or else I'd eat here every day!) The tomato and marinara sauces are to die for. The veggie toppings are fresh and delicious. They take care of problems promptly and graciously. But in over a year of regular pizza parties, I've never ONCE been glutened. I moved out of the area and miss them very much. I don't trust other locations like I trust this one.
They are really careful with cross contamination. Staff was great. Pizza was thin and crisy, really good.
This restaurant is horrible and customer service is non existent. When THEY made the mistake of serving my Celiac child a regular pizza, and he was up all night vomiting, they did nothing! I couldn't get the manager or owner to call me back. They offered not so much as an apology. I will NEVER spend money there again.
