Outstanding pizza, best gf crust I have ever tasted. Also available in two sizes small (1 person) and large (2-3).
I've eaten here many times and I love this place. great atmosphere, great service!
Great pizza gf crust can be done in two sizes and all the pizza can be done gf
Great pizza! They are super friendly and have good service. They can make any pizza gf. We got the greek pizza. Delicious!
Awesome pizza and even has dairy free cheese options
Very good gluten free pizza. Served fresh and hot.
Just had the American GF pizza at ZPizza at the Honolulu location. Delish! Crust was nice and crispy, their sauce is tasty and all the toppings were wonderful. Hubby had a Santa Fe pizza (on regular crust) and he said it was very spicy. He had a bite of my GF pizza and was in love. Said it didn't even taste GF. Highly recommend. Wish there was a location in Oklahoma City!
They made the most delicious pizza I've had to date. Crust was crispy and they offered Daiya cheese for those who don't want milk product. The pizza is made on a pizza pan that is used only for gluten free pizzas. A little pricey but worth it.
Have gf menu! Great Caesar salad without croutons and great crispy gf pizza with many options. Loved the Italian sausage!!!
This is NOT a good place to go and get gluten-free food! They used all shared utensils with both gluten and GlutenFree. When I address the issue the staff insisted upon knowing the right answer even though I watch them cross-contaminate! There's no understanding of the concept GlutenFree at Z pizza.
I'm in love with zpizza! The crust is not like other crusts-it is not like cardboard- the whole staff is knowledgeable and seemed confident I would not be in the hospital later that night(and they were right :))
It is expensive but so is most gluten free items. We liked their GF pizza. We have eaten here many times and not gotten sick. We watched them carefully clean the area they prepared our pizzas in and they cooked it in a separate oven.
Great that there are gluten free dairy free pizza options. About 20 a 14inch pizza. However, they needed to bake the crust before adding toppings a little more, it wasn't crusty enough. And they should use cheddar daiya- it has a better taste. Overall though I recommend it.
Good pizza but they don't always have GF crust (they run out), I just call ahead and double check.
Awesome!!!! I had my first pizza in a long time today with no problems. I had the gluten free cheese pizza with garlic sauce (soy free)!!! No problems.. they cooked it in a pan so it wouldn't touch the stove. The crust is so delicious. I can't wait to go back. Pizza is my favorite and I am a fan of Zpizza!!!!
Great pizza. Not clear if meats are gluten free so I stayed away. Too expensive for me. We spent 42.00 on two large Pizzas....otherwise, if you have the dough (haha) it is pretty good.
The staff were very understanding about my needs regarding cross contamination and explained the steps they take to avoid it. I also thought it was good that the guy behind the register told me they aren't certified gluten free but they do their best to avoid cross contamination. Pizza tasted good, nice thin, crispy crust.
Like everyone said, great pizza. Besides that they serve Redbridge which is a life saver when you're at a downtown Raleigh event that serves beer (but you can't have any because of GF). I usually stop here and grab a beer or two and then either walk around during a beer-friendly event or grab a table outside.
The gluten free crust is really good. It also is dairy-free, egg-free, and soy free which is exactly what my husband and I need. They also have dairy-free soy-free cheese that is one of the better cheese substitutes for us cheese lovers. We regularly eat at Z-pizza.
The pizza here is absolutely delicious, although a bit pricey. I've always ordered online & haven't had a problem (I am slightly confused though - online you can only order a small GF pizza, but the printed menu says large is available... one day ill stop being lazy and just call in my order and find out for sure).
I work here and just want to give an overview of what we do to ensure pizzas stay gluten free. First of all we have a list of all the gluten free ingredients next to the checkout counter. Anytime anyone orders gluten free I check this to make sure there isn't anything on their pizza or salad that contains gluten. Pizza crusts are premade and put inside pans which are solid on the bottom with edges so they do not touch the brick oven which normal pizza crust will sit on. We put the crust straight into this pan out of the fridge then make your pizza in or normal line. (One issue with our process is that we do not have a separate sauce or ingredients, and we do usually spread the sauce with the spoon for it. This part is subject to some cross contamination, I'm working to try and improve the way we treat the ingredients so this isn't an issue). We then put it in the oven, when it is ready we pull the pizza straight from the pan to your plate or box and cut it with a gluten free only pizza cutter. I personally have no issue's with gluten, so I can't say for certain whether or not it works for others. I do have a number of celiac's who are frequent customers though, so I assume they haven't had issues. We also stock gluten free/dairy free deserts from a local bakery.
Terrible! It's expensive and I get sick after every time I gave it a chance. Their pizza sounds good but it's not gluten free ! Also their delivery service is terrible it took 2 hrs to get a pepperoni and Olive pizza when I live less than 10 min away.
Very yummy only wish they could have more size options but it was very yummy they make the dough separate then store it and when you order your pizza they make it but they cook it with non gluten free items :/ I recommend the Napoli (tomato, basil, garlic sauce, and mozzarella) (no Parmesan)
Great pizza! Crust is pretty good, toppings are delicious. Overall a good experience as far as gluten-free dining goes. However, make sure you ask which toppings are NOT gf - they could tell me which pre-designed pizzas have the gluten, but not the specific toppings. :( Also note that the on-tap rootbeer has gluten! I contacted the company (Old Dominion Brewing Company) afterward to be sure. The staff at zpizza served it to me without batting an eyelash after I asked several questions about the GF pizzas, so they probably don't know. I've eaten here several times, and except for the root beer incident, I've never had a reaction afterward.
The best GF pizza and chicken wings ever!
We ordered over the phone. And our staff person wasn't as helpful as I imagined she would be. She left the mozz off of our pizza! And our daughter got sick from her gf pizza. Our friend who suggested Z had a very different experience when she ordered in person.
The GF pizza options are very good. Small and large pizza available. Cooked on a trey to keep from touching where the regular pizza has been. Four stars were for the cheap paper plates. Clean nice place to eat. We had one large pizza and each had a salad and two drinks, cost $25
I loved the pizza I had and they had vegan gf pizza. I do not get this luxury in the middle of Texas. The service was friendly. The price was a but steep but the food was tasty. There was no cross contamination I know that because I am super sensitive and had no pain :-)
It's been a while, but the last time I tried Z-Pizza I was definitely glutened. They don't have a dedicated oven or prep space. I used to love their pizzas before I found out I had celiacs, but they are now off-limits until they make some serious adjustments.
Service is great! Actual GF specials on tues and weds! Great pizza and salad was fabulous too! Casual, welcoming, and low key...great place to stop!
Great pizza place that delivers gf pizza! Actually have both large and small size options and really interesting topping combinations.
Vacationing in Williamsburg and my husband and I have celiac disease where we abide by a gluten free diet. I have been craving pizza, let me tell you the pizza was out of this world!!!!! I hope there chain makes its way to Philadelphia. Best meal on vacation. Thanks:)
This was the most flavorLESS pizza I've had since I ate at a different zpizza. How do you add sauce, cheese, pepperoni, black olives, and Greek olives and still have it taste like a slice of unbuttered toast? Very Celiac friendly, and yet, why bother? I gave this a 1 Star rating because I wasn't given the option for less.
Being dairy and gluten intolerant, i love being able to eat pizza out of the house, and it's very good. I've been several times and most were fine, but once they put regular mozzarella on my pizza when I had said twice to use the vegan cheese. You are responsible for your own tummy here. For that reason, I prefer brixx pizza, but I'll go here in a pinch, I just need to be sure I have the time to correct my order if they get it wrong.
They offer vegan gluten free crust and Daiya vegan cheese. I asked if the pepperoni was gf and it was. I was told they use separate pizza pans and utensils when preparing the gf pizza and it's baked in the oven on the dedicated pan. The pizza was tasty but a bit pricey. You can get a gf vegan dessert up the street at Babycakes :)
So many gluten free options and it was delicious! I got the Italian pizza (subbed out the gluteny ham for gf Italian sausage) in a small size (they offer small and large) and ate half of it to myself. The crust was thin, crunchy, and perfect (most places usually make it kind of chewy). Also, I don't think they charged extra for the gf option (California restaurants do). I was super happy to find this place. I was worried about the options I'd have in Texas, but the state seems pretty good with helping us gluten free people. Loved this place!
Excellent gfree pizza. Go here once a month with no issues. Price is hefty, but California style pizza is my favorite of all g-free places I've been. Highly recommend this place and got my non g-free friends and neighbors eating here as a result.
Good GF crust and pretty good topping choices. Everything is baked on parchment so no oven contamination. Unfortunately if you also avoid dairy, their DF cheese is just OK. I prefer my pizza without their cheese at all.
I think the gluten free pizza here is fantastic!
It's a great pizza place for gf- when they get your order right. Ugh. My family went once and loved it but, the next time they got our order wrong. I ordered a gf small Italian pizza with no ham and they gave me that- but not gf. So, they got me a new one. Gf this time. The worker was very sorry and gave us a whole gf pizza- free! They have some gf cookies at the counter- try the lemon dream, it's really good. I recommend it. Kind of.
The gluten free pizza was awesome and they are very knowledgeable about gluten free.
Pretty good GF pizza and a salad option.
Gotten sick here, many many times!
I've eaten there once and liked it ok. Crust was a chewy rice based crust. It was slightly charred, which I think made it better. My sis and family had regular crust and they were salting the hell out of it! My sister doesn't do much salt at all. They had a veggie one, while we had a mix of veg and meat. Canadian bacon added the right amount of saltiness for our tastes. I think they are way over priced, but didn't totally hate the experience.
Best gluten free pizza I've had!
Awesome gluten free options, in addition to their regular menu. Prices were very fair. Family friendly.
Only place we go out for pizza. Menu works well around all my son's allergies, and he loves the GF crust. They seem to try, but there is a big risk of CC.
Delicious. The gluten free crust is available for small only. Thin & crispy. Very friendly people
Do not eat here if you are truly gluten free, you will get sick. The 2 times I've been here their service has been terrible and they took no care in their product. Other pizzas places with shared kitchen have never made me as sick as this place, I even doubt they gave me GF at all! Save your money and drive to Brick Oven instead.
Pizza tastes great and they can also do a dairy free pizza using the new Daiya vegan cheese. Better than the normal soy cheese that is used in other restauarants
Lots of gluten-free options (e.g. Crust, cheese, sauces, veggies, meats and dressings). The downside is they are not a "gluten-free" environment if you are seriously allergic. But their vegan options and gluten-free crust are quite tasty.
First time we ate here the pizza was good. The second time we ate here the pizza was great. Add in the knowledgeable and helpful staff and you get 5 stars.
This place is amazing. I love their employees. The manager is highly educated and aware of minimizing contamination and trains people to be meticulous. I've never once had a problem with their pizza, which is amazing because I can't even walk into a bakery these days. The crust is delicious, but full of refined flour, so I can't overdo it without feeling a little over-starched. (this is also a plus or else I'd eat here every day!) The tomato and marinara sauces are to die for. The veggie toppings are fresh and delicious. They take care of problems promptly and graciously. But in over a year of regular pizza parties, I've never ONCE been glutened.
excellent gf pizza. going here for years.
Gluten free pizza was pretty good but I've had better. Slow service, took a while to get my gluten free pizza.
Good food, service could be better. The last three visits my order was either burned or wrong. When correct, their food is fantastic.
Their GF crust is amazing! They are also very careful about cross contamination - GF pizzas are assembled in the walk-in freezer instead of next to others, and baked in a metal pan to avoid contamination in the oven. Two thumbs up :)
It was delicious. The only problem was that two of them, including the owner, insisted the veggie crumbles were gf. I had seen the site linked here so I didn't trust them and I was right. They realized it, apologized and were careful after that, but it's kind of inexcusable in that context.
Not gluten free cross contamination people don't understand the severity of the situation. Use same sauce, utensils, and pans. When I addresses the issue and explained it, it went right over the gals head and she claim to understand celiac disease but made all our food wrong cross contaminating!!!
yummmm! such good gf pizza my friends will share with me! there's a night they do buy one get the second one 50% off (i think--whatever it is, it's a great deal) and that is the time to go! even gf cookies!
They use the same sauce, toppings and utensils for regular and gf! So it is NOT gf!
Excellent pizza! This is the only gluten-free pizza I have had that I would get again. Albert understands about gluten-free ingredients and was exceptional in helping me order properly. He even called my home to help me after I made a mistake ordering through 256-ToGo.
Practically all the pizzas can be made gluten free if you pay a bit extra for the GF free crust. All the sauces are GF and most, if not all, the toppings. The GF crust is thin and very, very crisp. They also have GF chicken wings and some desserts. This location is directly accross from the Burbank AMC 16 theaters.
This place has tasty pizza, and offers the gf crust in two sizes; I haven't experienced another place that's done that yet. They are very upfront about ingredients, providing a list of the starches and gf flours in their pizza crust. They have vegan cheese available in addition to their mozzarella (from grass-fed cows), so they earn high marks from me for being able to accommodate multiple dietary restrictions.
My only complaint is that they didn't have a large option of gluten free food items, but at least they had some. I had to ask for a separate menu that listed all their food and allergy information. I got the gluten free pizza and it was delicious! It tasted like a normal thin crust pizza. We also got a gluten free pizooki to share which was very good as well. I would come back for their gluten free options.
Phenomenal gluten free pizza. Best I have found in any of the big US Cities
Order a GF Santa Fe with lime chicken (instead of chicken sausage) for the best pizza in Rochester.
Love Love Love their pizza. Best GF pizza I've had. Everything I've tried topping wise was great, especially love their Mexican pizza! Little pricey but worth every penny!
Have eaten here many times. GF Pizza is good just wosh they could make larger ones
Very, very good!!! Some of the best gfree pizza I've had!
I was at a Christmas get together with my gluten free kid. The host found zpizza by searching for gluten free restaurants in the area. The gluten free pizza is amazing! My son and I enjoyed it and so did the the non gluten free guests. I like it better than Mellow Mushroom gluten free pizza. AND they delivered too.
Great service, aware staff, I eat GF there every week
absolutely love zpizza. they have a good process in place to avoid cross-contact and the staff are very knowledgeable.
the gluten free pizza crust has got to be the best I've ever had. I was really surprised and impressed. not like the other G F crusts I've tried that are rice flour based and kind if "glue-y". this was a nice crisp and flaky crust. VERY happy to finally be able to order pizza for the family and have some too. they are a little expensive but absolutely worth it! they deliver too!
Excellent GF pizza!!!
The GF crust is amazing with great taste and a good crunchy texture. The best I've had! (plus, they have vegan cheese as well if you can't do dairy)
Delicious gluten free crust
Happy to deliver crust-free pizzas in one of their aluminum pasta pans.
GREAT place. mostly salads and pizza's but good!
