No. No. No. I failed to check this app and wasted my time making a reservation at this very precious spot. The website failed to indicate that the regular menu was unavailable due to restaurant week (Dine Out Boston). Although the online reservation system allows you to make notes and indicate specific food allergies, the hostess claimed that the restaurant only gets the reservation and not the other information. The waiter told me I could only have a $44 piece of plain fish (the same fish was available in another iteration on the Dine Out menu, but if I wasn't ordering the other stuff, I couldn't have the $25 version?), and told me that the kitchen was unable to accommodate food allergies. How about letting a diner who painstakingly entered allergies into the reservation system and checked the restaurant website know this? I would have happily avoided them instead of ruining an afternoon for my friends and me. There is nothing a person with celiac can eat here safely, and the waitstaff does not care.

I should have learned my lesson after a bad experience at their Miami location. This place is a nightmare for anyone with an allergy, let alone celiac or a serious gluten allergy. The staff was incompetent from the moment we sat down. Despite having a gf menu they brought out my under cooked steak with a glutenous salad touching the steak. They told me the fried calamari was Gf but it wasn’t in separate fryer. The wait staff was clueless as to what gluten was. They never confirmed whether wasabi was Gf or not until I asked 3rd time.

The managers couldn’t care less when I pointed out the mistake and then they brought a new steak that was even more undercooked 20 min later. This was rare, not even close to the medium I asked for. At this point it had been 45 min since my first steak arrived and the rest of my party was also pissed.

Someone else at table of 8 had a steak that was so over cooked the waitress laughed when he cut into it. It was supposed to be medium and it was well done, almost butterfly. No one offered to bring some other food while we all waited for steaks to be remade.

Our cocktail glasses sat empty for 30 min before we pointed out this fact.

The management couldn’t have been any more apathetic about the whole experience and didn’t lift a finger to offer any other food or drink while we waited.

It’s a great scene with lots of people that don’t mind having a horrible food experience. Just never again for me.

Not a great experience, restaurant is new so maybe it will improve. They said they could do a gf sauce with the chicken but instead they brought the gluten containing sauce on the side, in case we changed our mind?! Multiple servers brought food which made me uncomfortable with safety of food. However, they claim their fried calamari is gf in a dedicated fryer but I’m not confident. They do have a gf menu, though not many options. Hopefully others will positively review in the upcoming months and the restaurant will improve their allergy protocol.
