jamieO Curious as well, was told Iceland is a difficult place to go on a GF diet.

praga5656 I only had a stopover at the airport, and there were no GF options to eat or drink. Also, Icelandair had no safe option for celiacs on board. I was extremely hungry. I learned the lesson and I always carry snacks.

JL22 I live in Iceland and in Reykjavík there are a lot of gluten’s free options in the supermarkets :) Kronan and Bonus are my go to stores I recommend you try the brand Semper they have really good GF options and tasty. I haven’t been to any restaurants or bakeries so I can’t recommend any.

IcelandWeddingPlanner I’m an American living in Iceland and the grocery stores have options but resturants are a bit scary! Eating out… I’ve found my staples in Reykjavík and Selfoss but not many outside of those areas that promise no cross contamination / glove changes, etc. Reykjavík: Silli Kokkur (best burger); La Trattoria, Mathús Garðabæjar (person fave, can do the majority of their menu gluten free) and Sushi Social. In Selfoss: Samúelsson Matbar
