Will be visiting Miami for an extended weekend to watch a family member’s performance at Florida International University. I will have some time to explore beyond that local area. Any recommendations for gluten free food?

• Courtney If you’re looking for a quick bite by FIU, Chicken Kitchen is a good option. Nearby there is Vice City Pizza in Kendall which serves Chicago style pizza, and Pura Vida which is a great breakfast and lunch option in Doral. There are many options in the Miami Beach area as well as downtown Brickell if you venture out closer to the water! 1 reply

• wam146 I’m look whet to take my son for his birthday but those places that say they have gluten free options, DO NOT PRACTICE CROSS CONTAMINATION. This is sad that there are not mouth places for a a celiac disease person to eat, apart from Bolay and Fresh Kitchen which they are both 100% gluten free
