Great gluten free awareness. However, they have one of my least favorite crusts and they jack the prices up. But no cross contamination issues.
the owners of amici's are actually east coast transplants from new york and Boston who moved to ca in the ‘80s and wanted to bring the pizza they grew up on to the West coast. gluten-free crust is now available at many of the locations, including San Francisco, but check the website for more information. the milano pizza with roasted potatoes, bacon, mozzarella and provolone is highly recommended.
Great service. I had a cheese pizza. It was ok. It lacked flavor. My bf had cheese pizza with chicken (we shared one and had them do half and half) and he said it was delicious. Crust was very good. It is very pricey. For one 12 in gf pizza the least you'll pay is $23. Overall it was a good experience.
Eaten here a few times but its never been my choice. Cross contamination issues aren't taken as seriously as they should be. And while I can tolerate their salads, the pizzas are gross - overlooked to the point of disaster. I truly think the cardboard box has more flavor.
Gluten free low carb pizza is good!
Pricy, as expected - one GF pizza with 3 toppings: $25.40. The 3 toppings (ham, green pepper, potato) were the best I've had on any pizza BUT, aside from the ham, they were scarce. The crust was undercooked which seems to be a common complaint with GF pizza. The cheese was OK and the tomato sauce was nearly nonexistent. Still, it hit the spot for this pizza-craving girl AND they deliver at no extra charge. Way better than Dominos but at twice the price, they should be! I plan to try Bocca Lupo for my next 'za craving.
Pizza is bomb! Even the gluten free one. You will pay the big bucks for it but worth it!
Gluten free menu! Delicious.
