I ate at Balance on 13 July 2023. There were items marked on the menu as able to be prepared gluten free. I had the Balance Bowl and it was delicious! I did have to ask the waitress to check with the chef about making it gluten free, since she was unsure about the grain substitution. She did check, and told me the choices I had. It turned out great! Wish I could eat there more often but it’s not close to me.

The owner Amanda is more than willing to help accommodate menu items and make them gluten free - she’s there most days. Owners family has food allergies so she “get it”
I got a power bowl today and requested no heirloom grains on it due to being gluten free. They informed me that the rice is cooked separate and mixed with the grains so they gave me a little separate cup of rice if I wanted to add it on my salad.
I eat here year round safely, I’m very sensitive with immediate reactions to any gluten.

The staff were amazing however there was only one thing I could safely eat as someone with Celiac disease. I talked with the staff and found their gluten-free foods are catered to those with a gluten-intolerance. The only thing that was confirmed to be safe were their fries. They are gluten-free and prepared separately from gluten-containing foods.

The waitress was very knowledgeable about gluten and told me they could basically make anything gluten-free that is in the menu. Items on the menu were not marked. They do not have a gluten free bun.

Staff said that almost the entire menu can be made GF. They have a dedicated fryer. Daughter liked the fries and our meals were very tasty!

Awesome place. Very knowledgeable. The owner’ son has peanut allergy so she is really aware of cross contamination. Very hip place. They can basically make everything gluten free. Chef was very helpful. My daughter was so excited, the chef made her gluten free Mac and cheese from scratch.

Wonderful people. Great food they are very willing to tweak as needed for gluten free. Good prices for amount of good and lots of ways to mix and match to get what you want.
Many GF options. Not just salad. Fun dining style. Portions plentiful but not over done. "balanced". A little pricey but not bar food making it totally worth the extra $$.

This is a new restaurant that is safe for gluten free dining. The owner and chef came to the table to talk about the gluten free options and the precautions that they take. Delicious food and great service!
