The server is well versed in gluten free foods or things that can be customized. They have a dedicated fryer for the tortilla chips.

Staff was very knowledgeable about what is and isn’t gluten-free. Got the nachos without the cheese “sauce” (just melted cheese instead) since they make it with a roux using wheat flour. Fajitas were amazing. Manager offered us a free round of champagne since it was my birthday, and was also given a free margarita with a sparkler since none of their desserts are GF. Loved it. Will be coming back.

Most items on the menu are gluten free or can be made gluten free. They have a separate fryer as well. I’ve been here a few times without any reaction (I’m celiac). I’ve had a few different kinds of tacos, guac and chips, and they also have good cocktails. Solid place for tacos in River North! Server was also very knowledgable.

All of the taco shells are blue corn tortilla, and the wait staff reassured me the chips were gluten free as well without any cross contamination. I trust that because I did not get sick afterward! Delicious food and I didn’t feel limited as to what I could eat. Lots of menu options that are gluten friendly other than tacos, but I highly recommend!

When ordering chips and guacamole, I asked the waitress about cross contamination in the fryer. At first she told me everything was safe, but after asking more questions, she ended up getting the manager. He informed me that the fryer was broken and nothing was safe for me to eat except cucumber slices, a salad with no meat and olive and guacamole. I was with a large group for work, so I had to make do. I didn’t get sick, but I certainly left hungry. I’d check with the restaurant before going that their fryer is in operation. Otherwise, you won’t have much to eat.
On a positive note, the manager was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and took me seriously. If the fryer is working, I’d ask to speak to a manager before ordering and this might be a fun place to check out. The guacamole was good!

Brunch was tasty. Multiple gf options noted on the menu. I had breakfast tacos on purple corn tortillas. Staff was knowledgeable and willing to ask questions in the kitchen. Chips are fried separately on their own.

This was one of THE best Mexican restaurants I have eaten at. Very knowledgeable about the menu and tons of options. The queso was amazing but the Slow Roasted Pork Shoulder with homemade corn tortillas was next level, NEXT LEVEL. 100% coming back next time I'm in Chicago

Great food, everything was labeled clearly, and the waiter was very knowledgeable.

Easy to figure out what is GF and not. However, the service was awful - slow and many items in our party were forgotten. The food was good - but not great.
Went for Brunch and menu clearly labeled. Ordered breakfast sandwich and waitress asked if it was an allergy or preference and then asked if it could be cross contaminated. Food was delicious! Highly recommend for those with celiac

Was here a few weeks ago and the waitress was very knowledgeable about Celiac disease and what I could and couldn’t eat. She went thru the menu with me and pointed out what I could eat and when food was brought out made it very clear if I could or could not indulge. She was excellent and the food and experience was amazing.

I was assured by the staff that the tacos would be safe. Unfortunately, I became very ill after my meal here. Not safe for people with Celiac Disease.
